man you gotta give it some time.

I wanted him too. He was my dream pick at 30 and I didn't think he'd last till then.

but i'm psyched to see what mr. Hasselhof . . . er, uh . . Mr. LEE can do.

Blatche is incredible I agree. I'd love to see him after a summer with Aguire. The biggest fear is that Frye's talent is maxed out, and there won't be much more they can do with him- how do you coach a big with no mean streak? Anyway, IT has the best eye for drafting talent, so he must have seen something in Frye.

At first I thought, if I were Superman, a perfect secret identity would be "Clark Kent, Dentist," because you could save money on tooth X-rays. But then I thought, if a patient said, "How's my back tooth?" and you just looked at it with your X-ray vision and said, "Oh it's okay," then the patient would probably say, "Aren't you going to take an X-ray, stupid?" and you'd say, "Aw f**k you, get outta here," and then he probably wouldn't even pay his bill.

IN other words, he had an "eye" for Frye!

I liked Blatche a lot. I hope skipping him doesn't come back to bite us. It just seems like he's Kwame with more handle and his head on straight. We'll see. I like Lee though.

I wouldn't say that Blatche has his head on straight. That's why he dropped. He refused to workout for teams, express bad attitude as well.

Blatche biggest problem from what I saw and heard so far is that he is allergic to paint.. That is why he doesn't come near it, or post up in it, or rebound in it also.... The kid is a wannabe guard trapped in a big mans body. Is that a good thing? not really, he has skill no doubt but we need a big man, not just in size but in game, frye has a big mans game and he is versatile enough to take it outside.... So far lee looks like the better player overall, but agin time will tell..

From today's summer league write ups:

Andray Blatche- Blatche had another up and down game here today, showing a lot of the same things that he showed in the first few games, doing a lot of nice things from the perimeter but struggling a bit to maintain a consistent level of concentration throughout his time on the floor. He rebounded very well, though.

Channing Frye- Channing started the game off very strongly for his club, may have been the best player. Frye started the game off with a couple nice post moves, a hook shot with contact and a leaning one-hander. Frye has looked comfortable fighting for positon inside against the Bulls frontcourt and has grabbed a few solid rebounds.

Frye continued to play well in the 2nd half and probably had his best all around game here in Vegas. He ran the floor hard time after time and presented himself well for the pass and easy finish, dunking the ball with authority every time, which is great to see out of him. He had a couple of very strong moves around the basket to finish with his trademark jump hook shot, looking very confident and smooth in the process. Really looked solid outworking his opponent for rebounds down low.

I trust Zeke also. I just wished that he had chosen Blatche with the 30th pick and allow this young kid a good 2 years in the NBDL to develop. For sure Agwire would have been able to develop this kid. He has great fundamentals for a 7'

I've seen Blatche in two SL games. He loves to handle the ball (too much so) and as stated earlier he's allergic to the paint. On breaks he seeks out the 3 point line instead of cutting to the hoop. Not a real worker on D either. He has a lot of ability and may develop into a better player than Lee (emphasize may) but right now I like Lee much better...Isiah did the right thing. Turiaf is in another SL so haven't seen him but this may be a guy that was tough to pass.
We should have picked Blatche.....
