If they sign Stomile Swift they will be the best team in basketball.

Kidd will be healthy.....Stomile is a K-Mart clone. Nuff said.

Starting line ups will be very similiar to the teams that went to the Finals....oh yet I forgot that they finally have a big difference maker in Vince Carter to get them over the top!!!!!

Who is messing with this line-up?

SF RJ
C Krstic
PG Kidd
SG Vince Carter!!!!

They would still have Twin, Antoine Wright!!!, and a slew of other decent guys coming off their bench.

The Knicks got better but still aren't close to being ready to compete with these guys....especially in a 7 game series.

Wouldnt even be best team in the Atlantic. The Miami Heat is a better team with Swift or Shareef on the Nets. In the east they will have to deal with Detroit and Indiana. IMO: the Cavs would beat the Nets too. I am not too worried about the Nets. They need a real low post presence just like we need a real low post presence.

nets could make a SERIOUS run but their still not big enough or defensive enough to beat a miami or detroit providing everybody's healthy.

Well if I were to tone it down to being the best team in the East Division?

Right now the Knicks look like this to me:

pf Sweets/Mo/Rose/JYD/Lee
SF Ariza/Q/JYD/Lee
c Channing/Butler
PG Marbs/Nate
SG Q/Craw/Houston???

That is terrible. Not even sure if the Knicks got better except maybe offensively.

This team still needs a standout player.....Rahim is still out there. With the emergance of Travis Outlaw in the summer league maybe the Knicks could squeeza Darius Miles and Rahim in a sign and trade.....Tim Thomas with the expiring contract might make them do it.

I mean, they have a good team with everyone healthy, and they'll be better with him, but the best team in basketball? Are you sure you don't wanna rethink that?
