I just read on realgm that the bulls signed this kid eddie badsen that Briggs was talking about so much.. Bulls have been pretty good of late picking talent. I have the feeling badsen might turn out to be a decent player, he will fit in with the bulls defensive oriented system..

Bulls are building a powerhouse team built on defense + they have scorers.

I doubt they'll keep both Curry & Chandler, though.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

they'll keep Chandler and that's more important. Curry is basically a big Sweetney with no defense. Really, is there THAT much difference between Curry and Mo Taylor? I don't think so. Except Taylor has a jump shot. Curry is basically the biggest of the fat pigs who can score in the post, there are others who do what he does though.

Very true Briggs. Scott Skiles is an excellent coach, I love his eye for talent and his defensive minded style. Geez between Badsden and Nocionni team are going to HATE playing the bulls.

Chandler is injury prone, I can see them dropping him. Curry is a very good player. Who is Chicago's franchise player?

They don't have one and thats why they are going to win very soon. No egos.

Gordon and Heinrich are the main guys on offense. I really think the Bulls would have made a really nice playoff run had 2 of their best players(Curry and Deng) not been hurt. I'm serious watch out for them, Deng could end up being a franchise player but everyone else on the team is just really really really solid players.

I don't get it, chicago gets props for not having a franchise player, yet the knicks catch hell for drafting a good all around player instead of a hyped up so called high ceiling player with superstar potential.. go figure...

chicago is not winning a championship but if they did it would be because of incredibly tough defense, great coaching and enough interior presense. We have neither. thats the difference

I agree. Teams like Chicago are just built in a way where players can compliment each other. It's not neccesary at all to have a franchise player to win but I sure would like to have one.

You won't see me bashing the drafting of Channing Frye. I agree with Silver, I'd love to have a franchise player but if the Knicks do it the same way the Bulls are and the Pistons have I dont care, a winner is a winner, thats all i want.

problem is the Knicks are not going to do it with defense. They had a chance to sign Gadsen didn't & acquired Crawford who the bulls desperately wanted to get rid of, TT, Mo Taylor, Marbury, Frye & now Isiah is supposably interested in Antoine Walker!
