I think thats what it comes down to as of right now. Which one would you take, Chris Wilcox or Maybyner "Nene" Hilario? I think we need one of those two players because they fit what we need. Thought?

I'd take Nene before I would take Wilcox. Nene is 6'10 268 lbs(only 6% bodyfat), and has a 7'4 wingspan(his arms are about as long as Yao's). He is bigger than Wilcox, has a shot far superior to Wilcox(remember that article said he was nailing 3 pointers), and he is far more athletic(his athleticism is being compared to Kenyon Martin and a young Shawn Kemp). I am not even going to go into him having atleast a decent post game. Now he has all that to offer while being only NINETEEN YEARS OLD! Put him at center with Camby at PF and get a decent PG and ITS ALL OVER. If Nene is on board and LayDUMB passes on him for Borchardt, someone better call the cops because I am going to kill LayDUMB.

Thats really the only thing we can determine his talent by. Still, if everyone's saying all these good things about him he must have at least the potential to become something special. The workouts will make or break guys like Nene and Wilcox.

Hilario, with the help of good assistant coaches will become an All-Star. I can't believe he's gained about 30 pounds since I last saw him (and he was already strong like a bull).

So then (and excuse my Spanish/Portugese) maybe we should call him "Nene Toro".

Also adding this - "In last summer's Goodwill Games in Australia, Hilario had eight points, seven rebounds and five blocks in 18 minutes against the United States. He also blocked three consecutive shots by Pacers forward Jermaine O'Neal." from the Post.

From Insider:

Maybyner "Nene" Hilario: His workout with the Cavs Monday left everyone impressed, but not too impressed. At one point, Nene took the ball from out of bounds in between the baseline and the free-throw line. With one dribble, he covered the more than 25 feet to the basket and threw down a hard dunk. "I thought that was very good, but those aren't the type of things that you do in a basketball game," coach John Lucas told the Akron Beacon Journal. "He's very explosive. He's got very good feet. He's got great hands. He's got a good upside. It was a good workout." Hilario will work out today in New York before traveling to Indiana Thursday and Chicago Saturday.
