hear me out....Marb had a pretty good season, but based on the fact that the Knicks did so horribly, Marb wasn't even considered an allstar. Marb is recharged and ready to go. He has a lot of new pieces around him now, and his defense will greatly improve, because Isiah harshly criticized that part of his game. If nothing, Nate will push Marburry to bring his A game every night.

Marb stats line will look like this, 18/12apg/3rpg/2stls

If he averages those numbers I'll actually get a chance to ware his jersey in the spring as opposed to last year when I had to shelf it.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

I am telling you folks,,,,Marb would have been an MVP nominee if TT and Crawfford were able to do the things that are getting paid to do, If Houston was healthy, if we had some form of a defender up front.

Haha cmon Simrud, show those colors. I was in Rhode Island last year during the spring so I wore my jersey amidst all the Paul Pierce and Antoine Walker jerseys. I heard a few yells a few times walking across campus at URI but I didnt care. Show the Marbury love.

Marbury's taking a ton of media criticism. I hope he comes out with a huge chip on his shoulder. I definitely think he has the talent to be an MVP candidate.

The league is fickle about the MVP title. Let's see what happens in the W-L column. Mind you this is still a horrible defensive team.

Allan houston alone would have added about 3 apg to his stats and changed our win column dramatically. Lets hope q, and a breakout year from Craw and TT will do the same.

Marbury will be an MVP candidate like Ralph Nader was a presidential candidate--he will be in the running but doesn't have a chance in hell of winning.
And the reply is...a post that makes sense (still waiting)

Yet he'd be better than our current president. How does that figure into the analogy? Steph will be better than whoever gets the MVP award?

It doesn't figure into the analogy because the analogy was only about winning not who was actually better.
