No one has really mentioned him at all, and he is a pretty good big who is only 26-7 years old. He definitely could help us alot!! And we could slide Frye over to the 4.
2 ways to get him that I would do are:
Penny + Sweets
for
Magloire and PJ
or
Tim Thomas
Sweets
for
Mogloire and PJ
I'd prefer the first trade but, the second one makes more sense for NO. Id consider it and probably do it with some kind of pick coming our way. I like sweets and I think TT will help us next year, but we need a center, and he would help us out alot.
You're def. not the first to consider Maggs as a serious option. Problem is, N.O. could probably get a better offer. If anything, it would have to be Timmy/Penny, Sweets, and a Future 1st for PJ and Magloire. They get the pick, not us.
That's the type of addition that would make me excited about next season, b/c Magloire can bang with the best of them. I think after that, trading Marbury is a moot point. Having a starting lineup of Magloire, _____, Timmy/Ariza, Q, and Marbury is solid. PJ can still play, and would be a great backup 5 b/c he plays D.
Question is, does Isiah push for that, knowing Magloire isn't as athletic as Stro or Kwame? Better question is - is he stupid enough to pass up on Magloire?
If Magloire truly is on the block like reported, we need to make an offer similar to the one I mentioned above. It's a little lopsided in favor of N.O., but at this point, beggers can't be choosers.

DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure.
And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.
