Thats tough because the only one I've seen play is Wilcox. How many people have seen any live footage of the other 3? Well, I guess some have seen Borchardt, but Woods and Hiario?

Cross Borchardt off that list. I feel we should pick Hilario Maybyner. This guy is going to be something special...

gooden also has a chance of being around??? would you prefer him over wilcox??? I know many people say that wilcox dominated gooden in the big dance... but all of that will mean nothing in the nba

Hilario because he's the only one who can play center other than Yao. I wouldn't go crazy over chris borchardt.

Woods or Tskitishvili, i think its time the knicks take a gamble on a young kid and even though it might take longer for them to develop, i think they have a higher ceiling then wilcox or Borchardt who may contribute more now.

We don't need Woods and we don't want Borchardt. Gooden if he's there, but i like Wilcox and Hilario. At this point i like Hilario a little more because he has the low post game already, but we'll have to see them in the workouts before we decide which is better.

You rather go with high school because u dont know how good he is. Thats a bad way of looking at things. Im scared of getting the kid because he never had REAL compitition. Its not that he is much better, it is you dont know how good he is. Have you seen him play against college players for 4 years, NO. There is nothing great about being leaps and bounds above average high schoolers. Well we dont have time to develop players, we need to win NOW. Wilcox and Gooden has been tested against the class of atheletes going to to the NBA. If those player wont be on the board, i hope they trade the pick. Many people wanna jump on the foriegn player bandwagon because its the STYLE. Well you need to stop following everyone else and just go with works.

Woods wasn't a highschooler, he was a JUCO guy. If the Knicks get to pick and there isn't anyone who can help them, they should trade it.

Where woods will go will depend almost entirely on his individual workouts. Yes everyone GM does realize that he played against basically no competition the last few years, but you cannot ignore his supposedly (i've never seen him) t-mac like skills just because he did not play D1. The way I look at woods is that... if he does well in his workouts he will not be around at #7, but if he falls to us there will be a reason for that and we should stay away from him.

dont worry bigsmooth there will be someone around at the #7 who can help us... at least 1 of these guys will be around

wilcox
gooden
MD jr
Hilario
Jwill
Tskitishvili
wagner

(I left ming off due to the high risk-high reward he presents and thought that maybe he was a guy that you thought would not be able to help the NYK.)

I've seen WOODS, WILCOX & BORCHARDT play, WOODS is all offense, can't play a lick of defense, WILCOX is over rated, he can't shoot the mid range jumper, no post moves but runs the floor well & good defender, SOUND FAMILAR ??? (CAMBY) !!! BORCHARDT is TRAVIS KNIGHT, NUFF SAID !!!

Wilcox is a lot different than camby. yes both players shoot free throws comparable to dudley, but wilcox is much more of a power player than camby. Camby is strictly a weakside defender while wilcox can play a good post man straight up. Wilcox is already a step ahead of camby offensively because he has a nice little baby hook.

I think I saw Hilario play against the US with Brazil in some games last year, and he looked good then against NBA players. Definitely good for his age and experience. Go with him - Got youth a nice touch and ups.

Yeah him or Wilcox would definitely work, but i'll have to agree with you Hilario looks like a slightly better prospect at this point.

I too think that Hilario is the better prospect. The wingspan is the thing that gets me though, I think that puts him above Wilcox.
