Too bad we didn't get lucky and move up. Houston did, and moved into the top 3.

Damn...Houston got the #1. I don't think they will be drafting Jay Williams with Steve Francis on the team. It will be interesting to see what happens.

This might not be that bad for us...houston does not need the #1 so they may be willing to trade it - they are not going to pick Jay Williams and I don't think they are high on Ming, so they may choose gooden, woods, wagner, or maybe wilcox. They may be interested in camby and sprewell - if so i would pull off the deal for #1, or maybe our pick and camby and someone else

I smell a trade coming. Chicago will likely take MD jr if Jwill is goes #1. Houston doesnt need Jwill and probably wont risk the #1 pick overall on Ming. Houston would have no use for MD jr because Griffin is a SF. I doubt that they would move griffin to pf since taylor should be ready to go by opening day. Obviously I would prefer the #1 to the #7, but unless we can trade up without giving up much (very unlikely) I think that we should stay put. I would bet that Houston will trade the #1 unless steve franchise is gona move to the 2.

I could see the Rockets pick Ming or Dunleavy with their #1 pick. Rudy loves three-point shooters so much. I think the Bulls will pick Jay Williams and then trade him to Cleveland for Andre Miller.

Rudy loves foreign players, and according to ESPN Insider, he really likes Tskitivili and Ming. So Ming number 1, Dunleavy 2 to the Bulls. I hope the Knicks don't trade up, there will be good players available at 7.

We can't be dissapointed at all with the 7th pick. We landed right where we were expected and actually had a better shot at landing lower than 7th rather than in the top 3. Now since we know where we're drafting it's time to figure out our top players to go for. Ming and Williams will be gone. I like Drew Gooden and Dejuan Wagner, but they will likely be gone. With that being said, i think our most realistic and best picks are either Chris Wilcox or Maybyner Hilario. Both players do the similar things and would help our team right away.
