I wouldn't give up anything other than cash to compensate the Pistons.

I think we'll end up giving up maybe the Spurs first rounder at most. I think Larry will be here. That article outlines pretty well that Pistons are done with him.

You have to ask yourself: why hasn't Flip signed anywhere else?

agreed I don't want to give up a pick unless its a 2nd round pick in the 40s and 50s

I think Larry Brown would be a good defensive coach for this team. I would be impressed if Zeke can pull this off.

No way would I give up the Spurs' pick. The Knicks don't have enough assets.

A very good coach is sure as hell worth more then the 30th pick in the draft.

yeah, I'm not a huge Larry fan, but I almost agree with this. next year's draft is going to be weak anyway. it might be worth it.

Larry doesn't play rookies. He wouldn't play Lebron in the Olympics for Christsakes!

Anyway.....I just hope if Larry Brown does come Isiah has the team set up where Brown would have no choice but to give these guys a shot. No 6 man rotations!!!!!

that article has more reporting in it than the last year of Chad Ford's work. Read it again, it's not unfounded speculation - the guy has clearly talked to a lot of people within the Pistons organization. It's not a rumor, he was talking about how Brown was behaving during their run to the Finals. It's based in fact.
