Scalbrine, 5 years 15mm$? My God, he hit the Travis Knight jackpot. Not a bad player and a hustler, no doubt, but 15 MILLION? I guess he is the winner of the Brian Cardinal award this year. Not as much as that absurd contract BC signed, but I would bet that Boston bid against themselves here.

I think NJ has an injury exemption, perhaps they should use it on Matt Bonner for a little lighter in the pocket. he is about the same size and can really really shoot the ball. I think 3 years 7.5mm would be enough to assuage the raptors to pass.

That's way too much for Scalabrine. If Ainge had waited out the free agent period, I'm sure he could've gotten more bang for his buck.

Had a feeling Redd was staying. No way he was going to leave $20 mil on the table in his first payday. In the end, I think Cleveland is going to throw the max at Joe Johnson...after Hughes resigns in Washington. Will Phoenix match is the question? Probably.

Agreed. It's contracts like this that make me think someone actually will throw a full MLE at Hunter.
