I don't think that necessarily means that much.

Everything Chad has said over the past year and a half would be consistent with that except that he gave Isiah a B+ for this year's draft. I'm still puzzled by why he gave Isiah such a high mark.

I think it was Lee and Nate that boosted him to a b+...he can't really be rated on our 8th pick (especially with all the probables we threw around), but overall I'd say b+

based on Nates and Lee's performance in Summer league today...if frye gets 10 boards tomorrow, we'd have to upgrade that to an A+
all kool aid all the time.

this is very interesting. I guess Zeke had no other option than to come out in firm support, anything else would be throwing Marbury under the bus and lowering his trade value even more. I'm not sure if there's a market for Marbury either at this rate.

It's funny, guys like Marbury, Carter and Baron Davis supposedly have no trade value and net nothing in return when they're traded, but in the case of Davis and Carter, they turn around the team they go to. If we traded Marbury to the Hawks for Al fricking Harrington, I could see them making the playoffs. I mean why don't these guys have trade value? They're expensive, but that's because they're stars who fill the seats and take a team with any talent to the playoffs. it's pretty ridiculous that they have "no trade value."

Reminded of that comment Wednesday, Thomas said: "I am for the New York Knicks. There's my wife and my kids, and right now, there's the New York Knicks. I've even put the Knicks before sometimes God on Sunday and my mom sometimes. I'm down for the Knicks. We've got guys who I like a lot. We're on the right track, and we're moving in the right direction."

Chad has it out for the guy obviously. I also heard a rumor that Chad posts here somtimes under the alias Islefan. Anyone ever heard of this poster?

I would hope everyone by now would know not to put any faith into Chad Ford's "rumors". He's about as accurate as Peter Vecsey.

Yeah he's so freakin' annoying.

What's the matter, hanging chad didn't get enough people to sign up for his $995 online course to be an NBA scout or GM??

In spite of many peoples insistance that there are other reasons why Marbs will not be traded, I think isiah has made it pretty clear to all who can read or hear:
"Whoever the GM is, tell him to put his name on it," Thomas fumed after the Knicks opened the Las Vegas summer league with a 93-89 loss to Portland.

"Put the deal on it and tell him when he spoke to me. I keep a running log of everyone I talk to, every deal I discuss. Whoever the GM is, put his name on it. Put his [bleeping] name on it. What I don't like is when people lie and say they spoke to me. That's a [bleeping] lie."

"That is so far from the truth," Thomas said. "I'm ashamed for you guys to have to ask me that. Whoever the person is who supposedly spoke to me, tell him to be man enough, woman enough, or whatever the [bleep] he is, put his [bleep] name on it."

"He is in the picture," Thomas said. "We like where we are. We like where we are going. He's never been in play. Never."

Okay guys, read it again if you must. He has never been in play means he has never been on the market.

To hell with Chad Ford and all of those gullible enough to buy the bridge he sold... LMAO!

Isiah set alot of whiny lil' girls that wasted alot of time and text spinning that Marbury trade rumor. Hilarious.

I love this quote:

Asked if he needed to reassure Marbury about his future, Thomas said: "He and I and all of New York City know where I stand with him and where he stands with me. In my neighborhood, we say: 'We don't get down like that. We don't roll like that.' "

Let these fools know what the REAL DEAL is, Messiah Thomas!

Now maybe we can embark on discussions that are more valid that the "Marbury trades" CRAP that's been a total waste of space over the last few days.

STARBURY is STAYING. No more anal knee-jerk silly talk about him getting traded, please.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!
