Look like this kid is trying to get back to school. What a shame.
KENTUCKY: Randolph Morris, who declared himself eligible for the NBA Draft but wasn't selected, could return to play basketball at Kentucky thanks to a little-used NCAA eligibility rule. Morris, who gave up his remaining three seasons of college eligibility, could get those seasons back if he pays for all the expenses of any NBA workouts in which he participated, he sends a letter to Kentucky athletic director Mitch Barnhart within 30 days of the draft asking for reinstatement and the school agrees to take him back. The rule could be applied only if Morris did not hire an agent. It was unclear Thursday whether he had. SFX, a sports agency, released a statement from Morris on June 21 about his intentions to remain in the draft. But Morris' father, Ralph, said that as of Monday, his son had not hired an agent.
Wow! Very difficult situation for him. Amazing he wasn't selected in the 2nd round. I hoped we would get him to the summer league squad. Denver looked for nice players..

I like Morris, I think he has the makings of a good NBA center but who are the people that are telling these kids to go pro. Before the draft, I stated a few times on this board that I wanted the Knicks to take a look at Morris with the #30 pick. I guess theres something out there that teams saw or didn't see from Randolph.. it really makes you wonder whose whispering in these kids ears.
