If we get him, he would come off the bench...

We need a bonifide post-up player to play alongside Frye..
One who would demand a double-team and spread out the Knicks offense to benefit the shooters from the outside in a half-court set..

Rebraca does not fit that mode...

Its not like those players you describe are easy to get, either. The players we've discussed don't fit that description. Maybe Curry would fit that, and it would be very difficult to get him here, not to say that he is a risk because of helth. The fact is that if we can't get a starter at C that could be a potentially good player (like Kwame, and remember that I said, potentially), we would then start Frye at C, and in that case we would still need a backup C. In that case, Rebraca isn't a bad option...
