Is it possible to get Swift and Kwame without trading Starbury? If we can Aquire them both, our chances of making the playoffs take a huge step forward.

But unlike others, If Starbury has to be included in any deal, then forget it. I know alot of you claim Marbury is selfish, but you cant question his heart. I want Marbury jersey in the rafters.

We have to. There is no way Swift or Kwame would be the best player in a trade that involves Stephon. That would be a terrible trade by Isiah.

Amen, Silver... Amen.
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I'm not sure on that one. My perception has been that Kwame gets time and wastes it, he's both a knucklehead and a loafing low-impact player.

Swift on the other hand strikes me as someone who makes great use of his time on the court, but just gets wild and doesn't always follow his prescribed role. But he brings it, with tons of energy.

If Swift would come in for the MLE then I think we could easilly get them both. If we have to trade to get both players, that would be tough.

Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Im willing to give up all our power forwards from last year for Swift and Kwame. Swift has no heart!?! Thats hard to believe by the way he plays. I think Kwame has heart as well, but being the #1 draft pick, he never got the #1 draft pick treatment. Michael Jordan return, Gilbert Arenas Signing, or even the Jamison trade overshadowed him in the NBA media, so maybe he didnt feel respected or wanted. In a new scenery I think Kwame will shine.

He shows flashes. Same with Kwame. Swift has 2 good games, 3 mediocre games and 5 bad games. Does that remind you of Tim Thomas? All the potential in the world but not the motivation to use it. You can always gamble and hope it pays off. Its not that Swift cannot play with heart, its that he cannot play with heart consistently. Same with Kwame. We cannot deal with inconsistency and we definately cannot deal with players that arent motivated.

if you're talking about getting swift to be part of the high flying dynamic 2nd unit with nate, crawford & ariza then thats one thing but if you're thinking about starting him next to Frye who isn't a very good rebounder you'll have a seriously flawed frontcourt. if we can at least get kwame or wilcox to start in the frontcourt we'll be in decent shape

Swift has unrealistic expectations. He's not signing for the MLE.

Why are you so high on Kwame guns? He was drafted #1 overall in 2001. That was 5 years ago bro. His career year was last year where he averaged 11 pts, 7 rebounds and less than 1 block in 31 mins per game. He has the same problem that TT has. Kwame doesnt have the will. He isnt hungry. He isnt even in the mood to eat!

or do his laudry lol

i think too much pressure was put on him and obviously he isn't equipped to handle it very well. But I think a change of scenary and with the help of Isiah and Mark Aguirre he can live up to potential. He is still only 23..younger than Sweetney

Im high on Kwame as well. His is a chiseled 6'11 player with speed and agility. I could be wrong but under the teaching of Mark Aguire, I think Kwame can be an allstar. Its not that he doesnt have any heart its just that every year he was in Washington the had a mor eimportant aquistion than him(Jordan, Arenas, Stackhouse, Jamison). He is only 23, so we can look at him as a rookie coming out of 4 years of college. Zeke is very player friendly, so I think he can talk with Brown, and explain that he believes in him and the NYK organization believes in him, is probably what Brown needs at this point. Because the fans hate him in Washington. He's like Kaz Ishii up there, nothing but boos.

To me, if the guy's a baller, he doesn't get overshadowed by Jordan, Arenas or Jaimeson. He finds a way to COMPLEMENT them. He becomes a part of the TEAM. Kwame should have worked harder in the gym and weight room and made the most of his opportunities...rather than mope and be disruptive. I can't make excuses for the guy. He's just not worthy of an important position on this team BECAUSE HE HASN'T EARNED IT!

NO to kidkwame.
We will NEVER win with Marbury as our cameo guy.
