PG: Marbury - 25, Crawford - 10, Nate - 13
SG: Q - 22, Crawford - 18, Marbury - 8
SF: Rose - 20, Ariza - 20, Q - 8
PF: Sweets - 25, JYD - 15, Lee - 8
C: Frye - 24, MLE big man - 24

Marbury - 33 mpg
Q - 30 mpg
Crawford - 28 mpg
Sweets - 25 mpg
Frye - 24 mpg
MLE big - 24 mpg
Rose - 20 mpg
Ariza - 20 mpg
JYD - 15 mpg
Nate - 13 mpg
Lee - 8 mpg

All the mins Nate is in the game, I would have a lineup of Nate, Crawford, Ariza, JYD, MLE big/Frye -- Have them press and get out and run every chance possible. This lineup would be perfect to start the second period and at the end of the third. You can even throw Lee into the mix at center if we really want to go small.

I'll give it a shot...

Center: Frye: 28 mins, Mystery C(Kwame?): 14 mins, Rose: 6 mins
PF: Sweetney: 28 mins, Rose: 14 mins, Taylor/JYD: 6 mins
SF: TT: 25 mins, Ariza 18 mins, QRich 5 mins
SG: Qrich 27 Mins, Craw 21 mins
PG: Marbury 36 mins, Craw 4 mins, Nate 8 mins

Total
Marbury: 36 mins
QRich; 32 mins
Frye: 28 mins
Sweetney 28 mins
Crawford: 25 mins
TT: 25 mins
Rose: 20 mins
Ariza: 18 mins
Mystery C: 14 mins
Nate Rob: 8 mins
Taylor/JYD: 6 mins

I don't see any minutes right now for Lee. I think he starts on IR or NBDL. Butler=NBDL. Houston=IR. The team will likely be constructed differently so this is very tentative.

I think you got it except Ariza will barely play so we can improve TT's trade and Crawford will get close to 30mins.

Best thing would be to try to trade TT now. His value isn't getting any higher. Then either trade Penny too or buy him out.

lets oproject with what we have. there is no guarantee we get someone else, until we do lets stick with our guys i guess ill give it a shot myself

first off, we need a coach who is willing to play rookies or else we could get into a situation where nate and Lee dont play. Herb williams showed last year he would not play rookies, larry brown wont play rookies, so I will hope that Nate R is our coach because he HAS played rookies big minutes

C- Frye 6-11 245 28 Mo Taylor 20
PF Mike Sweetney 28 Malik Rose 12 Mo Tay 4 Lee 4
SF Tim Thomas 24 Ariza 18 JYD 6
SG Q Rich 28 Crawford 16 Marbury 4
PG Marbury 30 Crawford 10 Nate 8

Breakdown 9 man core rotation with small minutes to the three others

Marbury 34
Frye 28
Sweetney 28
Q-Rich 28
Crawford 26
Mo Taylor 24
Malik Rose 12
Mo Taylor 20
Ariza 18
Nate 8
Lee 4
JYD 6

Considering we drafted some experienced players I hope that means they are going to get more minutes, in particuar Nate and Lee. I would like to see both get close to 15 mins a game, Lee especially. If he doesn't then I'd agree with you Briggs and just say "Why didn't we draft someone who we could develop." Nate and Lee can contribute right away.
I like the idea of seeing Marbury play some time at SG to give minutes to Jamal. Then again we have to see what type of defender Nate will be at this level. He will probably be better than both Marbury and Crawford so it's not unrealistice that he plays on the floor while Marbury gets a few minutes at SG... that would be fun to watch. We are not going to win a championship this year so why not give us fans something to have fun with.

I'm wanting Nate to be coach too (the bigger Nate. eheh) for a few reasons: He can coach an up tempo game, HE PLAYS ROOKIES and the obvious talent he has as a coach. I'm not really wanting Larry Brown, he just don't seem to fit in with the style Isiah is bringing but with his record, yeah, I'd be willing to check it out. Herb Williams... I like the guy but he don't light a fire under my ass for some reason...and like you said he don't play rookies much. The end of last year is still in my mind... yuck.

I think your starting line up is probably something along these lines

Marb 38 mins
Craw 36 mins
Q 36 mins
Sweet 30 mins
Frye 30 mins

Regular off the bench
Nate 14 mins
Ariza 20 mins
Mo Taylor 20 mins
TT 20 mins

JYD Lee & Rose will be situational reserves

TT is really the odd man out that probably needs to get traded
