I read that Zeke is interested in guys like Walker and Swift, what the hell can they bring us that we don't already have??? We need to try to save as much money as possible, if we pursue guys like Swift, Walker, and even Kwame, we will have to once again over spend...After such a beautiful draft, and after the gift that Mr. Sterns has granted the Knicks,,,it would be foolish to spend more than the MLE to attract players. I am not for spending anymore than what we are already spending...We need to begin fixing our cap, just so we are able to make offers to guys like Lebron and others when they are available. Forget about expensive players, go cheap like Detroit and the Spurs have done...Build with players with character and through the draft...

Hunter and James are viable options right now....

well swift is a definite improvement over what we have now. getting him would mean, less minutes for taylor and rose.

z will proBABLY ask for too much...We don't need anyone that will cost us more than 6 million per year..I would be willing to allow a young cat like Hunter to play his rear end off, especially given all of the shooters that we have on this team, we really don't need another shooter...we need a guy that will earn his point the way Nazr did and provide some form of a defensive force. Frye can be the starting PF with Hunter at Center...We can have JB back Hunter at that position with JYD and Mo backing Frye at PF. I don't want to trade Sweetney, but he has better trade value at PF than the others. Lee can be a backup PF also. Have JYD on the court as either a SF/PF/Center. This dude is so versatile, it doesn't matter what position you ask of him to play, he will bring exactly what he does best....

My starting lineup from the jump would be:

Marb, Q, TT, Frye, and Hunter
backup
the midget, Crawf, Ariza, Mo, JB

or
Crawf, Ariza, JYD, Mo, JB

I think Swift when on floor and not injured will help us more offensively than defensively with his ability to finish inside. look what Marbury did for Nazr, now picture Swift not blowing every single dunk and layup....Yep thats a hell of a lot of dunks!
