Chicago Tribune - According to John Paxson rival teams are free to wine and dine Bulls' free agents Eddy Curry, Tyson Chandler and Chris Duhon as much as they like because in the end it will not matter. In the end, Paxson says, these player's futures will lie in Chicago.

"Teams looking at our guys are wasting their time," Paxson said Saturday. "We intend to match any offer."

All three players are restricted free agents, meaning the Bulls have the right to match any contract they are offered. Eddy Curry appears to be high on the list of both the Cavaliers and Hawks.

RFA is tough. You either have to overpay or do an S+T in 95% of the cases. Teams do not put in all the time with the young guys to let them walk unless its a special cirumstance.

It looks like to me anyways that its going to be either Kwame if we can trade for him or Jerome James.

Some of these players should take avantage of the new CBA sign a one year deal with the team they most want to play for...take it on the chin for a year and resign for market value.

Like they used to do in sports.

This is very likely BS from Paxson. Of course you try to game it - make other teams think you'll wait till the last second and then match their offer, trying to dissuade them from tying up all their FA money in a directon that won't pay off.

He's got a problem there. Curry + Chandler = one center. Is he gonna pay them BOTH as if they're world-class centers?
