Says he's pumped to come in. He goes way back w/ Jamal and has known Craw since he first started playing BB in high school. See's himself playing with Craw or Marbury alot in the same back court. Has no fear of bigger guys. Brings that football mentality. He loves Channing Frye and says he was very tough to play against every year

He sounded great. He said he will play tough and will make sure everyone on the team will play tough like him. I dunno if a rookie should be saying stuff like that but as a fan, it the stuff I wanna hear.

We need players to help the team stay hyped. Too many of those soft, unemotional types have been on this team over the last 5 years.

Time to get players with talent and fire. That's just what Isiah is doing. We need more cats that will smack someone in the back of the head if they aren't bringing the ruckus that a Knick is supposed to bring.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Good, we need someone like Nate. He may only be 5'7 or 5'9, but I'd still love to see him go head to head against Fugazy.

I love the fact that he said that. It says a lot about his character. We needed guys like him that motivates the rest of the guys to play harded and with more emotions. He sounded like a leader, and since this team doesn't have a lot of them, he can say what he wants.

That would be too much... for Fugazy...

Prediction: NATE DOGG wins the 2006 Slam dunk contest after an out of this world dunk over Bruno Sundov sitting on a chair and catching a pass from his boy jamal off the backboard.

Nate & Q can hopfully stop zone D which has killed us last season.

I can't wait to see Nate play. Though highlights are made to make players look great. From the ones I saw. He was either raining 3s or playing big getting tip ins or putting down monster dunks.

I also expect Marbury to try to put him under his wing the way he did with Barbosa.

Could you imagine rotating Anderson and Lee at the 4?

Anderson would give us the rebounding, post defense, and toughness that is necessary next to Frye. He also wouldn't need the ball on offense which would be a good thing. Give him 30 mins a night and I would bet he gives us the same production and intangibles that Jeff Foster gives Indiana.

Anderson and Frye would help us go from one of the worst shotblocking teams in the league to one of the best.

He'd be perfect in the up-temp, run and gun game.

Start a lineup of Marbury, Q, Rose, Sweets, Frye
but have the bench play more minutes. Ariza, Crawford, Anderson, Nate Robinson, David Lee off the bench would run teams out of buildings. Ariza could get about 20 to 25 mins off the bench while Anderson could play almost 30 mins a night rotating between the 4 and 5.

I'm really encouraged with Q's comments that he is excited to get back to his style of play -- downright dirty, abusing smaller guys in the post. Our halfcourt offense may be unconvential but it will be effective I think -- Q in the low post, Frye in the high post, pick and rolls, etc...

yeah, we just need the right coach to capitalize but this sounds exciting. NY basketball is going to be exciting again, even in a half court offense.

Nik, sounds like your really like Nate now I think he's going to be simply great in the Knicks backcourt, he's only 5'9 but he plays alot bigger then that and he's going to add a whole new element to the Knicks offense that us fans haven't seen!

Andersen already resigned with NO for a long term deal... doh
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)
