No need to respond unless you agree...but Stro is going to be the man and would fit our team very well.

I watched a lot of Memphis games last year. He was the most effective big man they had, Gasol included. He's a game-changer, would literally start runs all by himself with his incredible athleticism. He can run the floor, finish, hit an open jump shot, block with the best of them...yes, I do love Stromile Swift.

I would actually play Swift at PR along with Frye. I'd readily give Sweetney is a sign and trade along with Penny maybe to get it done. I'm not a real GM trade checker kind of guy. If any of you can figure out how it could work, great.

But I'd definitely take Swift as the best fit for our team.

No thanks to Big Z, Curry, Kwame or JJ.

Lates.

I agree with the last part about no to Big Z, Curry, Kwame, or James, but not too sure about Swift. I just don't think he's tall enough; 6 9"? Kinda small for the small team that we have imho

He's an excellent sized PF at 6'9 to go along with the 6'11 Frye. I'm in favor of him definitely.

Enough with Lee already. His vertical isn't that impressive and he doesn't block shots.

Swift would be the perfect PF for this running team and provide the shot blocking presence we r sorely lacking.

Hope isiah puts the full court press to get him to sign for the MLE

I would like to have Stro...if we just did not have Malik, Jerome, Sweetney, Taylor and that "excellent" pick Lee. No more PF's, please.
I like Swift, and it is true that he would fit our team, but with the roster we have, he is not what we need in my opinion.

I would love to see Stro put the Stro in Stomile at MSG on a regular basis...

If Isiah passed on athletic guys at 30, you can easily tell that his mind set is to get really big up front. I like Stro, but not with what we already have at PF. Same goes for Pierce...If we are willing to trade Sweetney, Mo T., and the other PFs that we have, than we can bring in Stro....I would much rather use Kwame than Stro right about now..because Kwame can provide the length necessary to go a long way...

Stro is a real enigma. He's also NOT a center. I like him, but with Lee here I would rather wait for our PF glut to break up some

I'd sign Stro for the rotation, then trade some of our PF's for a bigger CF like Gadz or Dalembert.

that's what got us in trouble last season...at some point, we have to learn from our mistakes...Enough with PFs, we have too many of them..

Our best efforts should be put on landing a center or a guy that can play center due to being 6'11" or more. The best should be done to get a guy like Dalembert, and Sweetney is avaliable to do in that deal or any other deal for a young big man. Curry should be observed hard before trying to get him. Brown is a nice option, but at the right price, and that price shouldn't be too much.

Swift is a good exciting player that would be a nice addition on any team that doesn't have our PF glut. Since thats the case with us, we should only try to trade for him after having established our frontline with many C's. And even that should be considered because getting Stro means less playing time for guys like Lee and Sweets, if he stays...

Well said. I think the Nets will get Stromile but thats for another time. I think we should go after a center. I would rather we stay away from Dalembert and Kwame but I am all for Curry.
