I have yet to hear any reactions from him. I am pretty sure that he had something or better yet, Isiah kept him inform about his plans. Have any of you heard anything out of the Marburry's camp???? or, is he waiting until the departure of both Houston and Herb to truly express his feelings?

I am pretty sure that he is extremely happy now that Kurt Thomas is not in town anymore...However, he needs to watch what he says, because Kurt will make him pay next time they face eachother. Marb made a huge mistake after Nazr got traded,,,the comments that he made were not called for. He needs to learn how to be a better politician...After all, Nazr now has something that Marburry dreams to have....

If he did comment, the media would be all over it and so would people here. That would deserve it's own article in local papers. So, as of right now, the answer is no.

Well if that is the case, he is not doing a good job as the leader of this squad. For what it's worth, Marburry should have been in all of the press conferences, because he is the face of the franchise...He should be right there welcoming his new battle partners..

I'd rather have a coach first then worry about what Marbury has to say.

I agree with you a 100%, but we don't have a coach yet, therefore Marburry should do what all Captains should do...

No- Marbury should keep his mouth shut.

'I'm the greatest pg' led to an abysmal stretch of basketball.

now, with the head on his shoulders he'll say something stupid like 'we'll definitely make the play offs and go far' and then the team will start 0 and 20.

No- Marbs should shut up and say something like 'I can't wait to get the season started- I'm excited'

No predictions, no anything.

Just play.

I agree...What I meant is that Marb as a Captain needs to release a memo welcoming his new team-mates and address his desire to get in the court with them as soon as possible to quickly develop a bund to erase last season's bad taste. It should be a simple message...For sure it will be blasted all over the press, but it will be a positive one...

Normally, memos get proofread by the KNicks media relation folks, if there is a mistake, it would be quickly corrected

I don't think Memos are the way to get your teamates excited about playing with you. Maybe he is vacationing with his family or something. Regardless, it is most important that he is healing up and getting ready to do what he does best and that is play basketball at a very high level. What he says or how he feels are irrelevant. He always says you are judged by wins and he wants to win, so he now has a much better oppurtunity.

From the start, we are guarantied to win 40 games at the least...With a creative coach, we can win an additional 15 games...Get rid of Herb....Nate or Laimbeer is the way to go....

Channing Frye for Amare!!! Pick 8 for Pick 9, right? They're getting a steal.

We will have the success of phoenix simply because our squad will be much improved in all areas...The Knicks biggest problems last season were chemistry and leadership. It wasn't a pretty site watching Marburry and Kurt arguing with one another. Marb wanted complete control, but Kurt wasn't having that. Lenny did a horrible job justifying the roles of each player. Now that they will both be gone, I expect Marb to truly be able to command the attention of his squad....Whether or not Malik will be willing to follow is remained to be seen. However, I expect him to have a much better rapport with Marb if he is still around. JYD OR MALIK should be promoted as co captain....

Phoenix's success may be too much to hope for. I like the way the team is going, but you expect us to get 62 wins and make it to the conference finals? Sorry man, don't get your hopes up. To me, the season would still be successful if we did nothing more than find significant minutes for the young guys we just brought in. There's still many more pieces to find before we can start talking about even 50+ wins, let alone 60.

I don;t know if we are going to win sixty two games, but one thing is for sure, we will have a much better record than Phoenix this season. Phoenix was a flux,,,that style of basketball will not do as well this season, because teams have enough tapes to prepare for what they did last season. to stop phoenix, all you have to do is force Nash to shoot the ball thirty feet and more...they don't play no D and most of all, they don't have a backup PG that can spare Nash...Nash will not have as good of a year next season,,,,so does Amare...
