Who do you think will win the ROY trophy next season? I think it will be Chris Paul. His stats in New Orleans will most likely moirror his college stats. 15ppg and 6 apg

Frye will be the ROY, Marb and the other back court guys will feed him the ball and most of all, he will definitely be in the lime light a lot more.

To be honest, Bogut, Paul, both Williams, and Frye have the best chance of being ROY. You can probably pencil them in as starters on team with some level of experience talent (with the exception of Marvin with the Hawks). I will say Chris Paul but it will probably be Bogut or Frye. I would have given more consideration to Wright but I think he will be logjamed behind Carter and Jefferson.

I don't see anyone in the national media ever voting for someone from New York.

Realistically, I'd say:

1) Paul
2) Bogut
3) Deron
4) Granger
5) Graham

Who's your top rookie for a Keepers Fantasy League standpoint? I might have the top overall pick in one.

I'm not convinced about Bogut. Does he have more game than a vintage Bryant "Big Country" Reeves? That guy was awesome until he retired young from a chronic back condition. Peaked out at 16ppg/8rpg/2apg/1bpg.

Nor do I understand Marvin Williams... What exactly does he do? Why is he looked at as a potential superstar/All NBA'er a few years down the road when a similarly sized/athletic player (Warrick) is seen as a tweener with no skills? He's not a leaper or shotblocker like Josh Smith is... and he'll need to contend with him (and a whole group of 6'7-6'9 swing forwards) in order to get playing time.

Deron Williams and Paul look like solid choices to me. Both have the opportunity to inherit starting PG roles. Felton has a tougher challenge-- he needs to beat out the very underrated and savvy Brevin "no outside touch" Knight.

As far as Frye is concerned... he may very well be ROY this year, averaging 13+ppg, 8rpg, 1.5+bpg. But I'd imagine Isiah Thomas will give him every opportunity to shine (it's his name on the line).

I disagree. When Nazr was here, he averaged 12 and 9, and most if not all his points came off Marbury driving and dishing off to him after Marbury got double teamed. Expect the same if not more from Frye.

I think Frye will average, 14ppg 8rpg and 1.5bpg. That probably wont be good enough for ROY but it could land him in 2nd or 3rd place in the votings.

If those are his first years stats I will be so freaking happy. But it is resonable, based on your nazzy analogy. And mind you Nazy would take like 2 years to gather the ball before he dunked it. BUT Nazzy was also sick on the offensive glass and he got alot of points there too, Frye will have to play the same way for those kind of numbers.

The college game doesnt always translate to the NBA game. If that was the case then where is Trajan Langdon or Why isnt Christian Laetner a 11 time allstar. Frye has heart and that can take him a long way in this league.

Not really, Frye is capable of hitting the outside shot, slashing to the basket, he can take his men off the dribble too. He can score inside too. Nazr is a better garbage player in the fact that he excels at getting the offensive rebound and doing something with it.
