Since Lee is a result of the Nazzy trade, and was picked over Taft (Isiah admitted to muling this over quite a bit) I think these are two ways to gauge him over the course of his career with us.

Is he going to be better than Nazr? Well he has a 40 inch vertical and can score with both hands.....hes already better than Nazzy.

Is he going to be better than Taft? Isiah says he picked him because hes better than Taft right NOW! But will that continue?

Taft has alot to prove to the league and to himself. Can he do it? And if he does will we be sorry? Isiah said he really thought Taft could have developed very well with us if we picked him, but that Lee did so many things better than him. His motor being very high on that list.

How do you regain your "motor"? Isiah is now the third GM to say that Taft didn't really have a motor.

You get picked in the middle of the 2nd round after being atop 5 lock, and you turn into an animal. Hes gotta really play for his money now. That could have been the best thing to happen to him though. He could turn into a beast.

Why is it that Taft gets so much attention?

He's not a great athlete like Chris Wilcox....he's not even as good of an athlete as David Lee.

He's soft. Both in style & physique.

He's lazy.

He has very little skill (offensive repetoire is a short jump hook & a dunk).

Or he could stay a bust. Pretty good chance of that, actually.
