I think it will end up being Brown. I think Curry will be the first choice, but that deals with Chicago are just too convoluted to go throught twice.

He wants a space eater/shotblocker he said on WFAN. Curry is a big man, but not much of a shotblocker and not a traditional spaceeating rebounder. Brown doesn't block shots either.

Maybe somoene like Hunter is more of what he's thinking...

James?

James definitely fills both criteria.

Yeah. He definitely fits the critera of "contract drive" player considering he was awful all year and then turned it on in the playoffs. He always has been an effective shotblocker and on ok rebounder for the minutes he plays though. Just very lazy....

With Mo Taylor, Tim Thomas and Sweetney on the roster, can we afford another lazy player?

Probably not, which is why I'm hoping its not James he's talking about.

No to James. He's not really all the coordinated and he fouls a lot.

Reguardless we need one more center for our rotation. My WISH list goes in this order:

Dalembert
Curry
Hutner = Brown
Gadz

Coming this summer: The Sisterhood of the Overachieving Contract Year. Starring Erick Dampier, Jerome James, and Eddy Curry.

I love Curry's post moves, but his absolutely lousy rebounding numbers really put me off his game. He's the Tim Thomas of centers... I'd rather not break the bank for him. Dalembert I think is obviously the most attractive option, but that's a bit of a pipe dream. Gadzuric would be great as well, and more realistic. Brown I wouldn't be crazy about, but it might be worth it if he comes cheaply enough.

The second Center will probably be a back-up, so Im thinking Mikki Moore or Jamal Sampson. They are athletic and can run, which will fit in perfectly with what Isiah is trying to do.

I like Gadzuric the best out of this group, but he's only 240...

Trading for someone like Dampier is another scenario that I despise but can't rule out.

As much as I would LOOOOOOOVE Dalembert, I just don't see it happening. Philly would match any offers, so if it were a sign and trade, they'd probably end up asking for Marbury. I'd consider it, but I don't know if IT would.

I definitely like the idea of getting Dan Gadzurick though. Good player.

Dalembert for Marbury? You've gotta be kidding me. And you think Marb and AI play together well and win? I can't see it. Dalembert is a role player Steph is a star

If we trade for Dampier, say bye-bye to Mo Taylor straight-up or Sweetney and Rose for Dampier and 2006 1st rd pick.
