it's too early to tell who won but i sure would have loved to switch draft picks with Boston

Gerald Green
Ryan Gomes
Oriene Green

honorable mention:

Warriors
Diougu
Monta Ellis
Chris Taft

Wizards
took Andray Blatche with their only pick at 49

in my opnion, Seattle wasted their picks with Petro and Gelabale

I would agree with those 2 picks as winners. I didn't like Charlotte's draft a heck of a lot (not a fan of May at 13 with Okafor and Brezec on the roster. Would've went for a wing like Granger, Wright, Green).

Toronto shocked the hell out of everyone, but I don't think Villanueva will turn out as bad as everyone is saying.

I think that we kicked ass to be honest. Frye, Nasty, and Lee are all ballers and IT did the right thing with Q.

Biggest loser: obviously TO

As for the biggest winner? Who knows, maybe the Wizards, since they only had a second round pick, they may have gotten the most value for the pick.

I'm most worried about Monta Ellis - I think he could get cut.

Indiana get Danny Granger with #17. The coup of the draft.

Many winners, I should say. When a draft is soo deep, many team GMs will go home feeling very happy. Some had great luck, like the Celtics, Pacers, Warriors, etc. But most teams that had pick did well. Of course, Toronto kind of blew their picks, but they still added nice players, and had a great 2nd round pick...

I agree that Toronto is the loser.

I think Charlotte and Boston did very well.

The draft was so good that Toronto picked wrong twice and will still benefit from having those guys on their squad. Their squad just wont be as good as they could have had they had a GM with a clue.

Toronto was probably one of the lone losers. Boston got a couple steals and were probably the biggest winners, followed by new york, indiana and golden state because of the potential they picked up. I also don't think Charlotte made out as well as most think. Sure they got two NC guys who will be impact players, but it's definitely clear that they went with the local products over talent, because there were clearly more talented players on the board during both of their picks.

Aside from where they picked them. Getting Villanuena,Graham,Ukic and Skolar IMO is good draft.

the Clips had a bad draft, taking that Russian project instead of Granger, Green, Warrick???? that's wierd, I don't care who you promised.

Bobcats sold out to try to bring in fans. Could have done better with those picks.

San Antonio, you didn't fool everyone this time, they are just trying to outsmart everyone and I don't think it worked this year.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I agree... they took CV way to high but if you look at the group they added at least 3 solid talents.

Yea, its hard to call Toronto a loser because Roko Leni-Ukic was a big steal in the 2nd round. Joey Graham was also a good pick but they still passed on Gerald Green twice which boggles me. Still, they came out of the draft with some good talent.

I think they're are a lot of winners from this draft.

The biggest one in my book is the Boston Celtics. I think Gerald will be a star and Ainge was smart to draft him. The Celtics have a sick core of young players right now in Tony Allen, Al Jefferson, Gerald Green, Delonte West, Orien Green, Ryan Gomes.... Danny Ainge has made some dumb trades in the past but he has really excelled in the draft.

One team I was dissapointed in was the Bobcats. From a business perspective, they had a great draft. From a basketball perspective though, I think they could have done better for the franchise. I like Felton a lot and I think May can be a pretty good player, but I don't get how an expansion franchise doesn't take a shot at franchise talent. Felton at 5 is ok, but how do you pass on players like Gerald Green or Danny Granger at 13?
