PERFECT match with frye. you slide frye over the 4, let gadz do all the dirty work and frye with the weakside shotblocking.

out of all those possibly available for the MLE: hunter, kwame, james...

i think gadz would be better for us than any of them, especially since frye has an offensive game. gadz is MUCH better than hunter.

I only hope that if Sweetney is traded, we get a good young player in return, preferibly at C. There aren't many, but there are...

Eddy Curry would be sick with Fryeone in the high post one in the low post. It could be sick.

Curry or Jerome James will be our center next season...I am leaning toward Jerome James, because Seattle drafted a couple of younger players like Petro and a couple of others that will be much more affordable..

I agree with Gadz. I think he could start at the 5, or more likely, come off the bench behind Frye and Sweetney to form a high energy second line with David Lee.

Isiah's going to make a run at Curry & Kwame but i don't think he'll get either one for the MLE...i want NO part of Jerome James at MLE money either...Gadz would be a solid choice, but he's sorta similar to what we already have in Frye, no?

I've been touting Gadzuric for weeks. He's the perfect fit to play the majority of the minutes at the C position until Frye earns the starting spot. Or, just play Frye at PF and have a nice tandem.
We will NEVER win with Marbury as our cameo guy.

Gadzuric has been getting his props, but I actually think people might still underestimate him. He had a GREAT season for Milwaukee last season. He had the second highest rebound rate in the NBA, second only to Seattle's Reggie Evans, averaged 2.4 bpg per 40 minutes, and posted an outstanding 18.5 PER. This guy is the real Camby clone, it seems like. I'd be very pleased if we could get him for the full MLE, but I think Milwaukee would probably match that offer.

If he's the guy Isaiah wants, we'll have to do a sign and trade and give them something they want.

Would you do a Sweetney for Gadz sign and trade? Milly needs a PF and can put Sweets next to Bogut...Ford-Redd-Mason-Sweets-Bogut?

joe, you'd need to add in more salary coming from the Knicks to make that deal possible, because Gadz is going to command more than a LLE contract...we don't have any low contracts to put into the deal, unless you make it a much larger & more complicated trade involving multiple players changing hands...i don't think it's worth it for a guy like Gadzuric, who i do like as a player...but we have Frye now...what we need is a PF to play in the paint who can stay on the floor for 35 mpg...i don't know if Sweetney will ever be able to fill that role for us.

how about Sweetney & Malik for Kwame Brown in a sign & trade? Sweetney can go back to his Georgetown roots, & the Wiz get a good veteran to stabilize their PF position, because their lone draft pick this year Blatche is a HS kid & won't be ready to contribute for a few years anyway.
