obviously that knee story came from Port--they obviously knew that he only worked out for 4 teams, and probably though they could slide him to the 22 slot with a rumor.

i think ultimately this guy impressed the two teams quite a bit. And it was indeed Phil Jackson who made the call on Bynum, not Kupchack.

He is already talking about being in the triangle offense with Kobe, LOL, like he is already NBA ready...oh god.
And the reply is...a post that makes sense (still waiting)

Why would you totally make up the fact that Portland started a rumor? You know just as good as the rest of us that YOU DO NOT KNOW THE CASE FOR HIS KNEE. Stop trying to prove your point thread after thread after thread. The kid didn't go at 6 like you said. It's as simple as that. The Lakers selected him and may pan out and he may not. My prediction is that when he does have a few Jahidi White-esque seasons it will be after Kobe is gone. Phil perhaps as well. But why try and deflect the reports about the knee concerns? Stop acting like you've examined the knee yourself lol.

With you it's always 'don't believe what is written or quoted by coaches and GMs....believe Briggs. lol

I actually agree with that. Maybe Briggs is right and Bynum will be a stud in this league. Do we really need five threads a day on it, though? We (including I) will give you credit, Briggs, for your prediction. We won't forget your prediction even if you stop posting five threads a day on Bynum

i would continue making your posts and let everyone else look juvenile when they diss you.

A diplomatic way of saying, "maybe you'd get more respect if you didn't taint your otherwise insightful and well-received posts with obnoxious, overbearing agendas and a**hole comments."

Yes, let the comments of those juvenile fools slide right off your back, you paragon of maturity! Or if that doesn't work, just call them dweebs!

No reason to get upset, Dweebette. I was actually commenting on the *lack* of original content (as it's now just the same stuff about Bynum over and over again). But I enjoy your posts anyway usually

Uh-oh... It's getting kind of tense, and some are even getting sensitive! Someone get some Puffs Plus (with lotion for that tender nose) and a dry shoulder ready...

Almost reminds me of a couple of years ago, when people got outright embarrassed for making the wrong remarks.

All those posts are still in the archives... Forever immortalized.

On that note, This Bynum stuff got really old after the draft ended (hint, hint!)...
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

briggs, great posts. keep posting man. dirt off your shoulder bro.

your contributions to the site are hot... how about refocusing your thoughts on insights into the Knicks Summer L...

anyone interested in taking a trip out to vegas to see the rooks (and fatboy sweets) play? i went to the summer L in Boston a few years back and knew Sweets wouldnt be s#!t... everyone on this board sweats fatboy hard, but he has terrible hops and fouls faster than spencer for hire. sweets is weatherspoon part two in my opinion and i said that years ago after the summer L.

and briggs, if you're gonna ream someone out on here, do it properly, dont just call them a dweeb.

Sorry, let me be more PC.

Briggs buddy, I like your posts and all, but maybe you shouldn't be so concerned about going to the ends of the earth to prove that every little thing you say is right. It's OK to be off sometimes, nobody's perfect. You don't need to bother posting 5 different threads from 5 different angles defending some statement you made that turned out to not quite be accurate. Do not the Eastern traditions teach us that attachment to the ego can only be destructive? It's fine, suck it up, let it go and move on. You'll be less stressed out, and you'll come off looking like a better person in the end. Live long and prosper.

ahahahahaha. Briggs called dude a dweeb. hahahaha

i've watched many times where Briggs would post something and someone(sometimes--me) would reply with something along the lines of an ignorant post but Briggs never replied with a derogatory comment.

use to make me mad when he didn't!

but now i see y'all are getting on his last nerve. hahahahahaa

Hey, Briggs was right from the very beginning on this one.

I still say that Frye was the right pick because Isiah is finally starting to build a team that plays a particular style. Long, athletic bigs who can run the floor and a bunch of athletic slashers and shooters who can create shots for themselves and the bigs. Now, if he can get these guys a defensive coach, I think we're on the right track.
