1 DJ White 6-8 245-Interior 3 Indiana-- Not on any mocks that I know of, will be a 2006 lottery pick for sure. reminds me of a cross between Larry Johnson and Bernard King

2 Paul Millslap 6-9 245 LT Interior--one word--warrior--he is a warrior. He also has a great chance to jump sky high into the lottery next year from nothing. A bruiser the ultimate power 4 with superior athletic ability and defensive skills.

Sean Williams C 6-10 240 BC talked about him this year, wouldve been a first round pick this year despite seeing limited minutes . Has had a couple of charachter issues in terms of getting caught smoking weed,a young freshmen at 17, still growing. Highlight type of athletic ability with very long arms. Has Okafor like ability, but a tad taller. Very muscular for a freshmen, will likely top out in the 250-260 without picking up weights. Hopefully he grows up a bit his sophmore year maturity wise. Supreme shot blocker, best returning shot blocker in america IMHO.

these are guys who probably wont be on any mock drfats so you can find the names of other big named guys on there--but these are 3 that I really like and stay in the theme of what the Knicks are doing.

50 bucks says in 10 months from now a newbie will be saying Briggs only knows about this Millslap kid because he read about him in some Chad Ford article and asking how many times Briggs has actually *seen* him play

I like Sean Williams. Pat Riley called him the best shotblocker he'd ever seen.

I would love to be able to package our two picks next year and get a guy like Josh Boone in the lotto. But that's looking WAAAY ahead.

I'm sure these players will be fine--the point is that we were almost clueless in this draft--who the hell know where we will be next year or what will happen--we're groping for light in the dark.

I know right, and then they will make retarded comments that they think are funny, and a couple of more newbies and long time dimwits will join in in the circle jerk.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

huh? this roster represents more of a plan than the Knicks have had since Ernie left. if you can't see the plan now, you'll see it come October/November.

Who predicted we would draft David Lee and Robinson? Weren't we supposed to get Bynum--the prototypical big man? Huh? Huh?

We have two picks for 2006. From what I have read it isnt a deep draft like this one, so if we can trade both picks for a lotto one(thinking that we will be a way better team than last year's), get that C Sean Williams. If he grows an inch or two during the year, gets my vote if he is as good as you say, Briggs. Lets see what happens... Who doesn't loves drafts?

No one. Does that mean last year's draft was searching for light? Nope. It was a plan for a particular style of play.

Will Bynum bust or be serviceable? Ever seen him play? Huh? Huh?

I'm not saying there is not a plan, I'm simply saying we have little idea what players will even be in the draft next year and where we will even be picking and how our current players will turn out and if someone gets injured and if we trade our picks and on and on and on...go ahead and speculate, knock yourself out!

Ohh, and Briggs, keep us informed about good prospects at C and SF. Yeah QRich may start at SF and Ariza will be there, but still. I suppose both White and Millslap are PF...

Sean Williams isn't that big, I go to school with him (I've actually blazed w/ him too).

Good guy, amazing shot blocker, not much on offense though.
