I hope not. I really don't want much to do with Brown at this point, and if we get him, just for the MLE and that's it, and maybe not even the entire MLE. He has earned nothing.

Can you see anyone liking Nate more than Isiah? Also he fills 2 major needs. An on the ball defender and backup PG. He could really help us keep Marbury fresh this year.

Look, Isiah will not trade any of the guys that he drafted...Sweetney will most likely be the youngster that gets traded, but I am not even sure that Isiah would trade him.

Thats why he has many future 1st round picks, so he doesn't have to trade the guys he picked. But at this point, I'd rather have Bill Laimbeer than Brown because the latter has healt issues and would cost us draft picks...

I think Briggs meant Kwame Brown.

I agree about wanting Laimbeer though.

and yeah, I think Zeke will keep Nate. I think Nate has an intriguing upside. How good can a midget be? He might be the best midget ever. He's a perfect backup to Marbury. I hope he doesn't get traded, he makes so much sense for this team...

There is a post on some thread in this forum that quoted Isiah saying "Nate will be loved by the Garden." I think it is safe to say he was drafted for the garden to be a garden favorite.

He also liked Nate's explosiveness and he is also "a little partial to the short guys".

How can you even suggest that Isiah will trade a little point guard with great speed? And above all, remember, Isiah loves him! Thats as untouchable as you can be!
