The deal moved closer to completion as the Suns picked Washington point guard Nate Robinson with the 21st overall selection, with the intention of sending him to New York with Richardson. NY would send Kurt Thomas, the 6-foot-9 power forward who has been playing center for the undersized Knicks, to Phoenix along with the No. 54 pick.

Thats just great, even more good news

I'd rather keep #54, but I still like the trade of Kurt and #54 for Q and #21 more than the previously reported trade of Kurt for Q and a conditional 2007 pick. I would have easily done the deal straight up BTW, without swapping picks. Getting Nate Robinson is simply a huge bonus.

Per reports, on MSG and Sporting News Celtics were ready to take David Lee but could not pass on Gerald Green. Interesting. Lee measured as one of the top athletes in the draft and his vertical is 42". Isiah must have loved this guy to pass on Taft and Blatche.
