I have just lost all faith in Isiah he could have used this draft to rebuild for the future, hate the picks, I could have lived with one, put when you have the chance to add the combination of

Green, Jack, Taft

Granger, Jack, Petro

or

Brynum, Jack, Blacte

Please someone explain the rational behind taking a 6'9 foward when you have two guys that play big.....

He did roll the dice, on the shortest player in the draft.

If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Taft is rated as one of the last pfs in this draft by all these analysis. So I don't know about taking Taft. I am intrigued about Lee but the analysis seem to like the pick because it makes the Knicks more athlethic. Lets face it 27 other teams said no thanks to Taft. Strange.

I didn't want to go safe with that 8th pick, but I understood that Isiah wanted Frye so I wasn't too pissed off though I was a little angry because Green and Bynum were there.

Then Isiah drafted Nate. I wanted a player with more height at that pick but I liked the pick because I think Nate will help us.

At pick 30, Isiah needed to swing for a home run. Instead, he took David Lee. I just don't see how you can justify taking another role player (which Lee is in my mind at his best). I really hope I'm wrong but I don't see Lee becoming a very good player in this league. Blatche made much more sense here and he should've been picked.

So far, I don't like the OVERALL job Isiah has done with this draft. Had Isiah taken someone like Blatche at 30, I would be thinking much different.

funny thing is the Knicks actually improved at every position tonight: backup PG (Nate), SG/SF Q, PF Lee, C Frye. I still wanted Bynum over Frye, but a night where we add Q-Rich, Frye, Lee, and Nate Robinson and only gave up Kurt is a good night for the franchise IMO

Don't forget to throw Q Rich in when evaluating Isiah's job tonight. He can be our SG/SF for the next 8 years

Disaster. We have the most tweeners in the entire league now. GREAT.

Nate Robinson... my god. Unbelievable. Not a bad player, very exciting, but not a player that will help us win.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I evaluate the Q-Rich trade separately because it is a trade not a draft pick. I love the Q-Rich trade as I have said on a number of occassions and I like the Robinson pick. However, we had 3 first round picks at the end of the day and we didn't take a player with a high ceiling with either pick IMO. I do think we are a better team because of tonight's draft, but I'm dissapointed because I think we could have done better.

swinging for the fences? i definitely would have gone with blatche. totally surprised we didn't grab him, but also that no one early in the second has picked him up. what's the deal, why does no one want a piece of him?

I'm shocked that Taft fell to #42! Has anyone ever fallen from top 5 or 10 projections to the 40s before in a period of about 6 weeks???

Loren Woods was predicted to go top 12 a few years ago and went #46.

Im not total pleased with the draft but to say that Nate Robinson wont help us just doesnt make sense. The best athlete in the draft. Defensive beast. Plus he has three point range. Height is overrated

I think height is underrated. This is basketball. Tell me one team that wins a championship without height! We don't have ANY height. We used the #21 pick on a guy who won't get more than 8 mpg. It makes ZERO sense.

The Knicks won a championship with a 6'8" center not even playing in the most pivotal game against one of the most dominating centers.

you're talking about 30 years ago- the game was VERY DIFFERENT!

Today's game is speed and height- I don't see the need for Nate-

For anyone who wanted Chris Anderson- we got him and much cheaper.
