just reported on ESPN radio.

Utah gives the #6, #27 & a future 1st round pick to POR for the #3.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

WOW! They really wanted Paul or Deron. I never would have done that in a draft this deep. 6,27 AND a future pick. No way! They could have Granger and Blatche or Taft! They're crazy.

They want Deron Williams.. or Marvin if he slides. I would trade this years draft and Sweetney, and future #1 for a shot at Marvin.

I don't know if Portland will take Webster, they might take Bynum. They worked out Bynum more than any other team.

Portland can get a decent SG at 27.

Kendall (Denver): I just heard that the Jazz made a trade with the Blazers. What were the details behind that trade?

Chad Ford: (2:33 PM ET ) It's done. Just got off the phone with the Jazz. The deal is No. 3 to Utah for No. 6, No. 27 and a future first that the Jazz had from the Pistons.


WOW, I can't believe the Jazz gave up three picks for Deron Williams. They must love him. Deron doesn't strike me as being too much better than Frank Williams. Better heart and head than Frank, but that's it...

Now it will be interesting to see who Portland will take at 6. Do they take Webster, Green, or Bynum? This draft is going to get real interesting for us starting at pick 5 which is when Charlotte picks.

GREAT trade by portland.
they get who they want (webster or bynum) AND get #27 AND get a future #1.

so you have telfair, #6, #27, dmiles and pryzbilla

not many wins now but they have a nice pipeline for 3 years from now...
