Giedrius Rinkevicius, a 7'2" Lithuanian, will be the first high schooler to take advantage of the new rule passed by the NCAA that allows high school players to declare themselves eligible for the NBA Draft but still retain their college eligibility. Other high school players (Stoudamire, Cooke, Collins) have declared but will most likely will pass over college all toghether.

Rinkevicius, who signed a letter of intent with Missouri, has struggled to achieve high enough academic scores to be accepted. He has declared because of this. If he gets his scores, he will then go to Missouri. If not, he could go back home.

According to many recruiting gurus, Rinkevicius is good shot blocker who needs to work on adding some muscle and weight. He only weighs 220 pounds. He also has a nice touch from outside. Some say he could play the power forward spot. He played at Bridgton Academy in Maine.

I don't have a link but this is just something i picked up from the realgm message boards. It's pretty interesting and it seems like he could be a potential second round pick if he doesn't get into Mizzou.
