I think what is happening with the Thomas/Q trade is the following: The deal was nearly complete when other teams caught wind of the deal. I believe once other teams learned KT was being traded, calls were made to IT with other offers for KT--offers which involve the draft tomorrow. KT may be sent to Phx tomorrow night but don't be surprised to see him dealt somewhere else depending on how the draft shakes out. Isiah is not talking, something is up, can't you tell?

Hey Rolando..

I never forgave you for completely sucking when you were traded to the Knicks. You had some athleticism when you were on Dallas, then poof .. your legs become toothpicks. You average becomes half what it was the year before! Can you explain that to us... please?

And about the trade.. it was submitted to the league for approval, Q was in NY today for a physical. He was told by his agent and the Suns of the trade. Either Isiah has the power of mind control.. or your theory is crap, like your game was with the Knicks.

thats classic

I would be inclined to agree about the KT thing but I think we got the deal he wanted. Q and a 2007 #1 is very fair. There might be something better out there but this is a good deal for us. 2007 will be as deep a draft as this one, so thats a good future investment.

I think if we don't find weapons of mass destruction, our involvment in Iraq was fabricated to emotionally tie the american public to commit to an imperalistic occupation of the country. In history, we prefer isolationism to pre-emptive involvement. Ruse? Was the Maine sunk in Havana harbor to involve us into the Spanish American War?

Did so many lives need be lost (at sea)to anger us into WWI?

Pearl Harbor was in retaliation to a THREAT of an embargo to choke them of oil and steel to influence a slowing of Japans invasion of China. Japan was never a direct threat to our mainland! And the Pacific war had nothing to do with Europe, but we had the emotional tie to do what was in our long term interests, and what was right!

Korea and Vietnam? Fear of communisism!

Always about FEAR! Most wars are.

We really gonna believe our little Isiah trade is a big smoke screen for some other purpose for the draft?

Why in gods name did I run so far off the subject? Oh, conspiricy theory! Yeah, Isiah is fooling folks to believe we really need to draft a center when in fact we need a point guard! LIke the soviets built a fake army to mask the failure of its economy but the fear of a nuke event in their desporation was the real threat!

one must liken this draft decision with the chess game of the cuban missle crisis! Such tension!

as odd as it sounds, IT must have clearly known about the injury thing & could probably cancel the deal any minute because of it.

If that's true, then IT is one mean executive!

Nalod,
Interesting what's running through your mind as you're preparing to go off on your European jaunt.

Have a great trip - BE SAFE - even though you're a risk-taker.

Marv,

This is an easy trip, taking the kids, all laid out. Not like central american jungle jaunt last month!

What goes thru my mind? Sarcastic response to the seriousness of this entertainment outlet vs. the real consipiricy that effect our lives. I too take this all to serious as evident by the amount of time donated to this "hobby"!

Thanks to the wishes! IF not this trip, our kids would be boarding together in Woodward!

I invited Isiah, but he is tied up with his ruse. Gotta love a good Ruse!

If you consider my numbers per 48 minutes there was not much of a dropoff considering I was 34 years old and on the downside of my career, I bet if I checked your life stats I would be more disappointed in your performance considering your life consists in diatribes against fictional posters.

I don't think it is far fetched to think IT was ready and willing to make the Q trade but, at the same time, knew it would get other teams attention and may stir up some other trade prospects.

on a small level I can see this, but maybe it went down like this: He has been calling teams offering KT and liked the Q deal. The Q deal hit a snag and now IT has something to take advantage of because of the news.

I think KT has more trade value at the trade deadline, heading into the playoffs.

I agree, either way it seems something has come up which is more than just waiting for some insurance faxes...

but at the same time, would a team like Phoenix that is heading towards the playoffs go for a major shakeup in the middle of the season? I think Kurt's value is at its highest right now, after his first season averaging a double double. I don't think the Knicks will ever get much for Kurt than a first round pick and a burly 3pt shooter who can rebound and score in the post. I think it's a very solid trade. I'm willing to give Zeke the summer to add some more size.
