Stefanski just said that Portalnd and Utah will be trading picks along with Patterson going to Utah and Kirk Snyder and Gordon Giricek going to Portland. The INTERESTING part was that he said Portland was making this trade beucase they were trading down to take GREEN or WEBSTER... NOT BYNUM. Sounds like the Knicks still got a shot at this guy or Granger for sure.

very interesting. I still wouldn't be shocked if they took Bynum at 6.

That's terrible news if you want Bynum, because Utah is the only team that was going to take Frye.

If Utah trades up with Portland, it'll go like this:

1. Milwaukee - Bogut
2. Altanta - Marvin Williams
3. Utah - Deron Williams
4. New Orleans - Danny Granger
5. Charlotte - Chris Paul
6. Portland - Martell Webster/Gerald Green
7. Toronto - Gerald Green/Martell Webster
8. Knicks - Channing Frye

Could be a smokescreen because they have to realize that Green could go 5, so they would take Bynum there. I don't think Nash is that big of a fool too assume that both Webster and Bynum will be available. Personally I would feel sorry for anyone who goes to Portland. In 3 years, their 2005 picks will be traded to acquire 2008 picks. The cycle is neverending there. Darius Miles and Randolph as team vets.

it's getting harder and harder to seperate the wheat from the chafe at this point. You realize every team in the league is putting out false info at this point in order to mislead teams ahead and behind them.

listening to all these rumors will have you ending up like Chad Ford, picking 0 for 29 in the first round like he did last year.
