Bogut is a given at #1 in every scenario

A.
If Hawks take Deron #2:
1. Milwaukee - Bogut
2. Atlanta - Deron
3. Portland - Marvin
4. N.O. - Paul
5. Charlotte - Green
6. Utah - Frye/Felton
7. Toronto - Granger
8. Bynum on the board

B.
If Hawks do Charlotte 5/13 deal:
1. Milwaukee - Bogut
2. Charlotte - Marvin
3. Portland - Green/Webster
4. N.O. - Deron
5. Atlanta - Paul
6. Utah - Frye/Felton
7. Toronto - Granger
8. Bynum on the board

C.
If Portland does Utah 6/27 deal:
1. Milwaukee - Bogut
2. Atlanta - Marvin
3. Utah - Deron
4. N.O. - Paul
5. Charlotte - Green
6. Portland - Webster
7. Toronto - Granger
8. Bynum AND Frye on the board

It depends on these trades though. If Portland trades down with Utah for then they are either taking Bynum or Webster, and we have to pray to Dear God that it's Webster, and we also have to pray that Frye is the guy that teams like.

well, Toronto LOVES Granger from what's been reported...so in the third scenario, even in Portland took Bynum over Webster, we'd still be able to get Frye. In fact, I think Frye will be there for us unless Utah takes him. But from the above scenarios, we should feel confident we'll be able to get one of them (Bynum/Frye).

you left out one rumored and very plausible scenario:

1) Bogut - MIL
2) Marvin - ATL
3) Deron - trade to Utah
4) Green - NO
5) Paul - CHA
6) Bynum - trade to POR
7) Frye
8) Whoopsiedaisie, it's a team full of swingmen!

or even worse:

1) Bogut - MIL
2) Marvin - ATL
3) Deron - trade to Utah
4) Green - NO
5) GRANGER - CHA
6) Bynum - trade to POR
7) Frye
8) Whoopsiedaisie, it's a team full of swingmen! Or maybe we want Chris Paul?

Toronto would never take Frye over Paul, and as mentioned, Toronto wouldn't take Frye over Granger...it's possible of course, but the chance is tiny that both Portland and Toronto would take Bynum/Frye over Webster/Granger...maybe one of them could do that, but both? unlikely

No problem with that I take Webster. If those comparisons to Rice are too. The Knicks should take that with a blessing, if anyone remembers when Rice came into this league of what type of scorer he was.

Ugh. I don't want Webster. Not if the Q trade is real.

I would agree if we didn't already have no defense playing Craw at SG & Q at SF. you need someone who can deend the perimeter if you're drafting a wing player not a jumpshooter like Glen Rice who plas no defense

Utah most certainly would have to trade one of its bigs.

why on earth would Utah take Frye? It's FAR more likely that Utah trades up to get Deron and Portland takes Bynum at 6. Why are you so sure Deron is going second overall? Not everyone likes that kid. Paul makes more sense for ATL, he's local. I think when all is said and done, ATL makes a trade, maybe with CHA - but in that case, CHA would take Paul or Marvin, who they covet.

Jordan (Sandy) Utah: What do you think that the jazz are doing? I have heard some rumors about a trade with Portland, but who has'nt heard that. If they dont trade and paul and williams are both off the board what do you think they will do?

Andy Katz: From what I've been told, they'll go big with Channing Frye if he's on the board. Frye and Danny Granger are the two likely bigs. The Jazz want a player who can play, rather than someone they have to wait on.

Well, Isiah would definitely take him, as many scouts believe he will be the best of this draft. Then we trade Marbury for (name the big man here) and we are set.

Granger a big? Anyway I get the point. I could see them taking Frye rather than Felton. Toronto could either take Felton or Granger. Who are we going to call? Andrew Bynum...
