Not for nothing and not that Francessa knows that much about the NBA but here was his mock top 8

1. Andrew Bogut
2. Marvin Williams
3. Gerald Green
4. Deron Williams
5. Martell Webster
6. Danny Granger
7. Channing Frye
8 NYK. Andrew Bynum or Gerald Green

He also said that he heard from his "people" that Channing will not be around when the Knicks pick but the Knicks are hot for him. So take this for what you will, I never though him and Russo knew the NBA that well nowadays anyway.

its actually surprisingly realistic except I think Toronto would take Felton, granger, graham or webster over Frye. Frye is so going to GS at 9! not because he deserves to but because GS is stacked with wing players and have no need for a guy like Graham and there are so few true Centers in the draft.

I dont think the other teams are going to pass on Frye becuase Golden State needs help on the front line. If the Raptors want him then by god, let them take him.

That was the surprising part. Francessa said he is the 3rd rated player but he didnt see him going in the top8.. thats why I take this with a grain salt, I just thought it was interesting that Francessa knew about Bynum and Green.

Again, if Isiah really wants Frye, he has run his draft operation like a sieve, and he is a moron. I don't think he is that dumb.

If Paul slips that much (veeery unlikely) I think Isiah could actually draft him and then... see ya Marbury!!! But the point about that mock that I agree with is that no selection is a very sure thing and NY could have a great chance at grabing a great prospect, not necessarily a big.

If Utah takes Granger, I could see Toronto taking Felton rather than Frye because they need so much a PG. Actually if the draft went like that, they would take Paul because of that reason.

Also, if Webster makes it to the top 7, it only means that either Granger or Green will be avaliable, and we know that if most fans here agree on something is that they would likely take Granger or Green over both Bynum or Frye...

I really think that if Granger, Green and Frye are all taken, Isiah will take Bynum...

Well, first, if that Rapters Hornets trade went through, then I can totally see NO picking Channing Frye with the 7th pick. Not Toronto though. This would be absolutely miraculous and a blessing in disguise for Thomas.
