Walker recently told friends at an NBA function that he heard New York - where Isiah Thomas is still a fan - and Sacramento are preparing offers.

Great. I think I'm gonna have nightmares tonight about Crawford, Richardson and Walker jacking up about 30 3's per game and making about 5.

I actually like Walker and would welcome his versatility as long as we're not giving up Marbury, pick #8, Ariza, or Q (if we acquire him). He was crucial in bringing the Celtics to a couple of conference finals series.

Agree with you 100%. I can easily live with channing frye, i think that we would just need to find either a studly 4 or a big 5 in the future. But antoine walker with crawford and Q? are we going to try to shoot for the league record for the lowest FG%>?

I really despise Walker! you need a PF like like Brand next to Frye. I don't think Sweetney or Tsylor are the answer and I know for a fact Walker isnt!

I don't believe this is the first time Toine has said that Zeke would try to get him, so I guess its best not to worry about it too much. I understand that we might be leaning towards a more wide open attack, but I don't think the objective is to blow the door down...

I would happily accept if Walker is traded to the........ Kings!

We don't need Walker. Our needs and the qualities that we need to find in our frontcourt players are great post scoring (no maniac 3pt shooter), great post defense, great rebounding, and size! PF's and C's preferibly 6'10" or taller. I've had enough with Mo T on this team because Zeke loves him.

Walker is good, but it would be a freaking chuck fest with him on the team. Toine, Crawford, Marbury and Q, all scorers. Walker and Marbury are gonna be fighting for the ball. NOOO WAY to him. We need hangers and shot blockers down low at PF and C. Not perimeter oriented players. A guy I'd much rather go after is Dan Gadz.

take one step forward...you take two steps back...

toine? he has no place on this team, especailly after the Q trade. in fact, he should be the exact OPPOSITE of what we're looking for from the 4 and 5 spot.

he would've fit in perfectly for us in 02-04, but times are different now, and so is this team.

It could all be Walker's guess. Maybe Isiah had interest on him last year because Isiah expected us to contend, but after the dissapointing year, he gave up to rebuilding. So I don't think Walker fits the bill of what Isiah is looking for now...

Don't believe everything you read....Coaches and players have often used the Knicks as a way to attract good contracts...Walker did it last year and Phill is one of the most recent coaches to have done that....It is something about N.Y. that does that, I don't know folks...We do have a lot of haters around the league...a lot of them....
