That would be two disasterous trades for Toronto in less than a year. Pick 7 alone is too much to give up for Jamal Magloire. Like you said (I think it was you), Magloire is a glorified Nazy. I'd give up pick 16, but picks 7 AND 16 for him?

yeah extremely mindboggling. they deserve to be mediocre and in cap hell after a trade like that. With the opportunity of drafting 2 guys like Granger/Felton & Vaszquez/Taft you're going to trade both for Magloire! Maybe Dickau is going to Toronto and New Orleans will take Paul. There's gotta be more to it than just Magloire!

I think NO is gonna draft Bynum at 7 now.

Maybe the Hornets will be high on Frye though, and if that's the case, maybe the draft him instead, which would be wonderful news to us. I think this should be cause for concern or possible relief to Knick fans.

Then two things happen:

1. A guy like Green or Granger slips, and that is great for us.

2. We have no other choice than taking Frye knowing that Bynum is gone. Can't feel bad about that because we had no chance at him, so we can finally accept Frye on the team. Meanwhile Briggs will remind us every 3 posts that we had to win that last game of the season and lose the 7th pick for no reason, missing on this future All Star Center that has legit size at 7'1" (you know, grows an inch by default), is intelligent (SAT scores!), full of potential and a workouts master!

We know toronto's GM is a bit of an idiot- so either he really is dumb or there must be more to this deal- perhaps their taking back Rose?

I actually said this out loud at my desk by accident. I read that and said, HELL NO.

I wouldn't do that for anyone except maybe Yao Ming.
