Taft or Blatche, but not Blatche if we pick Bynum with 8, if we pick Bynum go with Taft, let those guys go against each other and make each other better, not 2 7 foot projects.

Taft and Blatche will be gone but like I said in the other thread if we can somehow move up after drafting Bynum and 8 and also draft either one of those two, our frontline will be set for the next 15yrs! then I could live with undersized Craw at SG & Q at SF.

Time's ticking down... If the Knicks are gonna trade up, we should be hearing something within the next 24 hrs... (Hopefully!)
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I pick Simien or Blatche. With the nod towards Blatche. A potential 7 ft. point forward with real defensive upside. You can't teach length like that. Let him ripen in the D league.

Taft doesn't make it due to his mental shortcomings. It seems like he doesn't have the demeanor of a successful athlete.

Simien could be another Boozer.. but we have Sweetney.. actually now that I think about it... getting Simien would push sweetney to lay of the sweets. Taking Simien might guarantee production from the PF spot for years between the two. Simien is a nice replacement for Kurt with a better post game..

Actually I'm changing my pick .. I take Simien.

It would be fun to have Turiaf to come off the bench. From what I've read he's all hussle.

I'd probably take Blatche, and still hope to take Bynum. I am not a Taft fan, and I definately wanna let Sweets hold the PF spot for a while (here's hoping he shows up at camp lighter).
No way would I complain about having two 7'0 prospects, both under 20.

Me neither. One thing on Taft is that at 6'10" with a strong body, he could get some time at C, thats why I would pick him too if he was avaliable. I think that there is so mush talent that we are going to pick another good prospect at #30.

Still, I hope we either move up that #30 or get another pick in between 16 and 26...

After watching Blatche played at the Jordan classic, I came to the conclusion that this kid is a must have. I like his ball handling skills and the fact that he is a very active and versatile body. He can score and can rebound. He is a little light and has a lot of rooms to develop his physic. I would try to trade the 30th pick and a future second rounder to move up to get this kid. Blatche or Taft are must have. He has outplayed you all favorite player (Bynum) in every category. If I were Isiah, I would strongly consider Blatche if both Frye or Bynum are not on the board at 8. We can't fail in this draft...There are too many serviceable bigs out there...Turiaf, Simien, Blatche, Taft, Bynum, Hendrix, Frye, Morris, Petro, and many others....A combo of any of those names can greatly help our back court. As long as they can provide some shot blocking and athleticism at both ends of the court, we will be a fine ball club. Length is imperative to have...Length..

Right now it doesn't even look like there's enough room for Turiaf in the first round. I think either Taft or Blatche will slip if everyone else goes where they're projected. If one of them are there you have to take them. David Lee is also a nice option that would fit in well with our team, being 6'10 and athletic. I see him as a more skilled version of Chris Andersen. If we want to go for a swingman which i still think is possible because TT will get traded and Q Rich will start at SF, Hodge and Monta Ellis are two of our best options.

I don't like when cats talk about getting a wing player when our needs are so obvious to even Stevie Wonder. Look here, we can get a wing player from free agency or next season with the many picks that we will have....As far as I am concerned, length is what is in style right now, and our chances at improving in that department is now or never.

What if Martynas Andriuskevicius also does a free-fall? Would you take him instead?

Absolutely. Way too much talent to pass up.

Petro yes, Akindale not with our first rounder. I don't think he's even shown enough to get drafted period.
