draft granger or graham at #8.

trade tim + sweets for boozer.

trade penny + 2006 spurs #1 for curry @ 5 years/$60 mil.

despite what Chicago is saying about Curry, I truly think he is finished, and if he isn't, its a bad risk.

I mean, you want Curry? Go draft Bynum. Its cheaper cap & money and asset wise.

How can a player who's 6'11", weighs 285 lbs, and is considered to be an athletic big man average 5.4 boards in his 29 minutes per game?

of course, curry would be plan D

i think boozer fits in well with marbury, q, and craw and even better if we get granger.

i want a physical presence at the C spot - if it's not bynum, then my first choice would be gadz for the MLE.

i bring up curry b/c i think this is the type of player isiah would target - a center, who's a risk, but has skills.

Assuming they get no valuable use out of Penny, the Bulls would basically be paying $15 mil (his salary) to get the Spurs #1 pick next year (which no team would pay more than maybe $1 mil for). If they don't want to keep Curry, it would make much more sense to let him walk or to do a more reasonable sign and trade.

Curry has the potential to be a dominant big man in the league, thats why you consider getting him.

Interesting. A lot of people certainly changed their views of Curry after we acquired him.

It seems like everyone was in favor of getting Curry before the heart thing. I remember having conversations about it since Zeke took over.

this is after the heart thing, this is in late June; and I can only see 2 response in his favor in this thread.
