As for Mitch? For all we know knicks might be done with him regardless of price? Media is fueling all kinds of things and just because we go over the apron don't mean we stay over it. I don't think he does us any favors but fact is knicks were very patient with him over the years and it paid off for both team and player! Is he more than a 23 ppg role player? 19min playoff? His x-rays of his feet and ankle might tell a story not being told. His minutes reduced and no back to back, and limited to 60 games which is a vast improvement over the 17 and 31 games over the previous two seasons.

Duece trade low? The kid had abdominal surgery and perhaps lost his lift. He looked bloody awful but our depth carried the chip run on! He needs to demonstrate his health regardless and one should expect he should be back to form in the fall. If not you let him walk. Duece served us well and was a great value. I can see him as trade fodder. Just keep his ass out of Miami! Don't want this kid haunting us and make look Riley look good again.

Glad Shamet is back! Good story, good kid, good defender, shooter.........and for what DDV gave us at half the cost. Love DDV but he did blow out his heel in April and would not have given us anything to the chip, and next year.

Anyone know of he and Ron Baker played together? I think they about 4 years difference in age so they might have missed each other or perhaps Landry was a freshman? Both at Witchita State.

He talk to you about this? Cuz if you asked him it might have to do with a few things:

1. He playing a role on a really good team.
2. A bargain? for a few years he had issues staying healthy. This coach loves him. He loves this coach. They winning. He playing.
3. If you a fan of him you'd know his girl is a NY real estate exec. In fact they got engaged in July! She has a life here in NYC and an athletes working career can end at any time. So he has been building a life here. While nobody will refute wanting to win is part of it, that is not what you said. The deals he was offered might (me speculating, not pretending to be in the know) was offered more per year but for perhaps a year or two? Thus he gets hurt again, he back to vet min? now you want to say with absolute knowledge he was offered more to play in Brooklyn then you'd be correct.

All players say they about winning when asked. Not a thing wrong with it. Anyone who say the in it for the money is not lying, but its not a good look.

Bottom line? He is winning and he wants to be here.
