If ORL plays like they did yesterday they can be physical enough to counter DET's bully tactics

The Magic have not been consistent, but if they can keep playing D like this they are a dark horse team again

Agreed, and I still think that Detroit overachieved in the reg season, which doesn't necessarily translate in a 7 game series.
Cunningham is great, but his supporting staff is not great on offense.
That series is going to be a slugfest.

Watching Cade this season he's so big he was like a slow-motion Magic. Very methodical, not a lot of flash, not a speed player, but his gravity was really impressive. He can shoot over most people and he makes good decisions with the ball when he draws extra coverage. He really is the apex of that team, so you're right there is not anyone on the roster yet to give DET that second lethal weapon.

That is the strategy for ORL then. Even if they give up 35 to Cade, but lock down the rest of DET, they will win. They could pull it off.

Looks like the DEN-MIN matchup is the other toss-up even if I voted for ORL.

Detroit -Orlando. Magic can beat Detroit at their own game, that is being tough and physical

Mate, you called this almost perfectly, nice job!

whoah. Detroit can give it but can't take it, apparently.

Wouldn't mind seeing Orlando thump them

Similarly, part of me like's Bam, but every playoff series Miami is in, someone on the opponent always seems to get hurt. SO I'm not in a super sympathetic mood for them

This Piston team reminds me of Rileys Heat teams with Mourning. They played every regular season game like it was game 7. In the playoffs, everyone plays with the same intensity therefore talent and coaching to an extent will be the reason you advance deep in the playoffs. This is great match up for the Magic...If they can find some consistency, they have a shot at an upset

Thanks. Just getting caught up and seeing ORL won.

The thing about ORL is Franz Wagner is an excellent player and they weren't sure about his health.

If Wagner can stay on the court then ORL is a dangerous team.

With Paolo and Wagner both clicking they are a threat. Cade doesn't really have a true # 2 on his team and that could be the difference.

Interesting that the 2-7 and 3-6 matches are all 1-1, Detroit is 0-1 but the 4-5 matches are 2-0
