We keeps it moving. Great pickup with Jose. Sort of explains the random Clarkson start last night as well, trying to rev that engine back up.

Sorry to hear. He was really progressing and playing at a high level. Hoping for quick rehab and hopefully back for the playoffs!

Aw man. Hope we can get him back at least a few games before playoffs and let him shake off some rust.

But yes, the Alvarado trade is looking even better after this news.

HUGE LOSS! Fingers crossed Deuce can come back for the playoffs cause we'll need his defense and shooting.

What timing. I'm sure Deuce knew he was having surgery, but waited until after the trade. Takes the leverage away from Pelicans. Helped us get GTA for cheap.

I believe Deuce at times, had problems guarding the real small and quick guards. Even some his height. Deuce is great at guarding players slightly bigger and stronger, due to his football background.

I'm hoping GTA (Jose) can bring it against PGs off the bench. I bet even next to JB, Brown will test that small lineup and I can see it working in today small ball / no defense era. GTA adds speed, toughness and ability to run a team. He's a very capable PG starting or off the bench. Perfect signing at a perfect time.

Why do you think coach is gonna test more small ball lineups?

We really miss Deuce against teams like Detroit. None of our other guards defend and shoot it like he does consistently! Really hope it's just 6 weeks and he can get some games in before the playoffs cause we really need him!

Because of his history. And looks like he did just that. Even had a 3 guard lineup at one point. But GTA is exactly what we needed. That Deuce, GTA and OG lineup will be needed in the playoffs.

We really miss Deuce! He's that one guy who doesn't take games off.
