Too many player ahead of him in the pecking order to get minutes this year but I think we’ll see McCullar next year. Haven't caught too much past the highlights and stats but they sure do look nice and Kev looks confident.
If Giannis is traded for, I’d guess one of McBride or Deuce is moved, allowing McCullar to be added into the rotation. He looks like a different version of a Miles Mikal Hart combo but without the smoother looking shot. He got POA defense, gets around picks, steals, assists, connector both offensively and defensively, and not afraid to shoot or mix it up. IMHO if he wasn’t hurt and was playing like this out of college, he’d have been a lottery pick. He was possibly the best defensive player in the nation before he got injured. He has a mature skill set, can handle the ball, shoot or create, passes well, picks pockets. He's going to be an impact player if we hold on to him. |
