What has been clear the past 2 games --- we are finally defending with some force for entire game (very clear effort - particularly on the perimeter, on the ball and getting over picks. The ball is moving very well BUT we started to bog down with the Hart to Bridges exchange late in the game rather than just playing.

I said this earlier in the year but hadn't watched them the past few months --- Blazers future is legit (very young and talented team).

Watching the Blazers effort and play style made me think of Chauncy as a potential Knick coach down the road.

He's not quite at the level of Ja athletically, so he can't get away with sh!t as often as he'd like. But he still dropped 30. He's not that far away IMHO.

I mean he knocked down 4 3's last night and assaulted us at the rim --- would take his future over Ja myself. Love his quiet but fierce play style and effort defensively.

I missed the joke. Was this a remark about the game?

With a couple of seconds left in the game and Knicks up 1 (I think) Knicks (Hart)inbounded ball under our own hoop. After receiving the ball Hart moved laterally in order to pass the ball inbounds. That is a no no in that situation. You can only move when inbounding after a made basket but this was after a ball went out of bounds.

Brunson is poking fun at Hart saying know the rules. They've done this with each other during the year for different goof ups.

So Todd -- I went back and looked at that play.

Knicks up 111-110 with 7 seconds left in OT.

Hart is inbounding but moves and is called for a violation under our defensive basket.

Portland is awarded the ball and Avdjia makes a 3 point play with 3.4 seconds left putting Portland up 113-111 but Knicks call timeout and Bridges knocks down the 3 at the buzzer.

Brunson was poking fun at Hart for the violation that ALMOST cost the game.

I like his aggressiveness too, but there are a small amount of small guards who can take the rim and finish efficiently. He's not an A++ athlete like Ja or midrange/floater maestro like Brunson. He needs to refine that floater game. Also I know Shaedon Sharpe had 20, but there's something missing from his game I can't put a finger on. Like he's Zach Lavine light.

Yep. That sounds on-brand for Josh. 🤡

Thanks LL. Fair-weather fans had no idea what took place in the game.

Scoot was so bad last year. Its good to see him come around. Time for Portland to deal Simons (or Sharpe).

Avdija was born a Knicks killer. He has really improved his game.

Crazy they have Robert Williams and Ayton while having a good stretch.
Clinton was open a lot rolling to the hoop. They don't even look at him.
That could change in time.
Incredible how many knick fans were at that game in the lower bowl!
