I think the team has a weakness in design which could have been addressed. I am not advocating they acquire a starting level highly paid PF who will demand 20 minutes plus. Just a vet who can come in and provide size and shooting. I believe you should be prepared incase of an emergency and for various situations. I don't quite see me fighting windmills like Don Quixote but would you like to join me in a rousing rendition of " The Impossible Dream " ? Might be fun. Other teams stack up talent in case of emergency and for insurance for injury or futures trades. This team has been like " We got our guys that's all we need " I just hope that doesn't return to bite us.

I disagree. Look at the Lakers who have AD, Hachimura,Vanderbilt, and Lebron who can play the 4 but they signed Wood as a vet min and even Can Reddish as a player who can play 2-3-4. Insurance at the vet min doesn't damage them at all but provides insurance in case of many potential eventualities. Other teams as well . We could t have taken a flier on Bol Bol or Uruba ?

There's still room on that bandwagon. Hop on and enjoy the ride! Wasn't there a time not too long ago when the Knicks had every PF in the league on their roster? The Knicks just don't have a lot of size, but they do have plenty of players who can play PF for spot minutes. You'd think with our lack of size we would play with more pace but we don't and we can't. Back up PF is the least of our problems....we still can't shoot and we don't play with pace. 99 problems but a backup PF aint one

Too many PFs to too few. But one takes very little to correct. But anyway ... We need to pay with more pace and we are a short team so that can be dealt with independently of not having a back up emergency PF. I don't get your point but whatever. We will see how it plays out. Lol, I was married to an opera singer for 17 years 🤣 She was mental but only most of the time!

Opera singers are really well educated and devoted to their art form. My opera singer was working full time at night and studying music during the day. I can't generalize that they are all mental but mine was a free spirit. She enjoyed me being the complete opposite cultural wise meaning I knew nothing about Classical music. I was young and she ten years older having mov d to NYC from Germany ten years before. NYC is great these type of things happen all the time. I am Jamaican and Puerto Rican who has just broke up with his Indo Guyanese girlfriend to be rescued for a time by crazy old German Opera singer. NYC is great !!! Only in NYC
