Anybody try https://www.redefinemeals.com ?
Pretty decent food, convenient as hell, and healthier than a lot of takeout. Looks like they are popping up in a lot of places. Oh good lord... https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XkmGrX7O0lQ

It's not just the brutality, but the cold logic behind it that's scary. Lee Pace was the perfect voice casting. Always... always remember: Less is less. More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

Hundreds of dollars for a visit? Sounds steep. You guys have have health insurance to off set that cost? Bring it down to a co-pay? |

Negotiated the bill down to $180. Doctor made $180 for a visit that didn't need to happen, and lasted less than 5 minutes. Between the drive, and waiting for an hour beyond my appointment time, in a dingy and depressing waiting room, this wasted hours of my day. Doctors have nothing to lose by having you come back, just so you can say you are feeling fine. So they all smile and say it was great seeing you, and that you should make another appointment on the way out. Money is top priority. No surprise. Avoiding lawsuits is probably priority #2. Your well-being is probably a few priorities later. Oh good lord... https://www.youtube.com/shorts/XkmGrX7O0lQ

The pricing is bizzare. This Dr in their network? If so they usually prenegotiate the pricing. Not saying you did anything wrong. The system is wack. My experience is in North Carolina there is this continued build out of now competing systems now constructing small hospitals as our population is growing in areas were it was not previously permited to compete In. They cry they are not making money but perhaps these satellite offerings (they are really nice and offer many amentities and preventive services) do bring down costs. My Dr. friends got bought out of practices years ago and made really good money then but they hated the new owners and most have retired early. The younger Docs are not so fortunate. They make nice salaries but really over worked and are burning out. AI will help in many areas as do the inclux if PA's to administer the more basic services at lower costs. To counter your experience the nature of liablity in the system almost demands aco****ablity to administering prescriptions when things go wrong. Medicine is an imperfect science and when things go south the legal system permits restitution for malpractice. Trump famolusly called out "Obama Care" but has not offered any tangable solutions. Funny, we slam "Socialized medicine" but love Medicare! I am not debating here and obviously leaving many aspects alone or appear to be simplifying things a bit. |
