it was cool. they opened up the garden floor - we were allowed to take free throws, take pics with the banners and they had the draft on garden vision. here are some pics.

breen said he likes sweetney. i asked him if he was getting into shape and breen said, in a VERY POLITICALLY CORRECT way, that sweetney will always be a fat bastard.

Hey, it was nice meeting you both tonight. Hopefully we will all get together for the season opener and watch the game at that place where everyone watched it last season.

Yes indeed he did say that......well not in those exact words but he said he liked him and thought he would be a player who would never really get in greast shape but he thought he would be a 15 and 10 guy and thats great, Mike Breen watches alot of basketball in person.

He loved Kurt and thought, like many of us that he was a good solid player on the wrong team. He thought he couldn't do exactly what we needed but that he was a real solid ass player.

He thought Channing didn't have a very high ceiling but saw him as a guy similar to Kurt Thomas, who would be a good player for a long time

I think Channing Frye is gonna be something. The expectations are so low, he can only exceed them. If hes double digits in the league next year I'll be thrilled!!

Frye is Kurt Thomas on steroids.

Haha, it was funny how I heard someone talking on the phone behind me after the Knicks picked Frye and said "BRIGGS IS PROBABLY PISSED"...At that moment I knew it was someone from the board... BigSm00th perhaps? I could be wrong.

nope i closed up last year after 16 years. I was in too big of a hole after the pandemic. but I'm opening a takeout at some point this year.
