Here is a 5 minute video describing, pretty flatly, that former astronaut Edgar Mitchell (6th man to walk on the moon) sent a couple of emails before his death to John Podesta regarding two things: Alien contact (which has been made) and zero point energy (being brought to us by the aliens). No reply from Podesta though. And Edgar
Mitchell had mentioned aliens more than a few times in his life.

You know, this might be the one thing to save us from "politics".

Alien contact..?

You're kidding, right?

First of all, if they are going to promote extraterrestrial conspiracy theory they should learn to spell..ETI does not equal Extra Terrestrial Entities..That would be ETE..

You cracked the case! Congrats. Your previous posts now make sense. Trumps only chance of office is if he buys the moon. Heard they need a President.

Remember 'a verb a noun and 9/11.'?

These days for all Trump "surrogates" it's a verb a noun and Hillary Clinton.

Either he or Christie will be on the ticket as VP when Pence drops out tomorrow.

wow Bold

Not really. He has no choice really.

His only political future is a run at 2020. He can solidify his position atop what's left of the mainstream/evangelical/tea party wing of Republican party by stepping down. He has no future atop the alt-right wing.

If he stays, and loses (which is what will happen) that option comes off the table.

Despite his performance last week however, from all accounts, this seems like a situation that would genuinely effect his personal values.

Less than an hour ago, Trump tweeted that his critics were all self-righteous.

Trump-Pence is over. Pence is just going to give him more rope this evening before making it official.

Pence won't drop out..He is first on foremost a politician..He didn't let his personal values interfere with his lying about Donald Trump's positions time and time again during the debate...If he drops out it splinters the Republican Party and will have massive repercussions down ballot..One can only hope...And no way he gets Trump's seemingly tunnel vision supporters in 2020 if he does this...I think the rumors of him dropping out just further enhances his position as being independent of Trump in 2020...If he executes it's a different story...

True, funny how he kept calling out Clinton for being a politician. As though he is not a perfect example of one. He would make a good preacher on television. Wait...think he already is one of those as well. Gotta love the hypocrisy.

I think you guys are missing the big picture. He's calling the GOP traitors right now. He's choosing everyone to pick a side. He's doing what he usually does, he's making it worse.

Pence can't pick his side. Neither can Priebus.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Conway get fired or resign.

Her absence this morning is telling.

Been traveling this whole weekend and had my own personal interaction with the police. THought I would share.
My car blew a flat near Fort Wayne Indiana. Piped over on the side of the highway and it was at a time when the light was fading fast and it was dark. I drive an X3 and after jacking the car and removing the lug nuts up couldn't get the wheel off. Tried calling 24 hr car repairs and got absolutely nothing. Insurance said they would take an hour and s half to send someone. As a last resort I dialed 911 and they agreed to send a copy out.

It was cold out and my six year old daughter was shivering, the cop was a solid Midwestern white dude and he offered for my wife and daughter to go sit inside his car. We tried to wrestle the damn thing off but it was stuck and wouldn't budge. He offered to call a tow truck and then escort us to the nearest hotel or just drive us there. I was both amazed and grateful.

The tow truck guy took some long handle hammer thing and was finally able to beat he tire out helped us get the spare tire on. The spareason wasent will inflated so the cop them followed me the whole way to a gas station where I put some air into it.

This guy was friendly, polite, helpful and courteous and he stayed a lot longer than he needed to to help me out. Honestly can't say enough about him.

Nice story and of course not all cops are bad, in fact most are probably decent. However, keep in mind there's a difference between a officer responding to a call to help someone and cops stopping people for whatever reason. Totally different scenario and I suspect their mindset entering the situation is different.

I try to call it like I see it. I have criticized the police a lot here on this thread, well deserved in my opinion. This was an entirely positive experience. I am appreciative of the help I got.

Ding!

http://www.cnn.com/2016/10/09/opinions/trump-tape-doesnt-matter-opinion-robbins/

This election isn't about greatness, the future, or even Donald Trump. It's about defiance.

To his supporters, a vote for Trump is a way to flip the middle finger to the system, the media, the elite, the liberals, the know-it-alls and the people who pretend they're better than "us."

Every dangerous and disgusting thing Trump says proves he's not fit -- and that's the point. He's not fit for the current "system." And that is exactly his appeal. When he opened his apology by saying, "I've never said I'm a perfect person, nor pretended to be someone that I'm not," he was making it clear:

I'm not "pretending to be perfect," like "Hillary Clinton and HER KIND."

Obama won his first election thanks to the emotions of hope and enthusiasm.

Trump could win this election on the emotions of frustration and resentment.

Feelings are powerful. According to research, 95% of our decisions are based on subconscious factors -- like how we feel. Not logic. Not what you "know" is right. We make decisions based on what we feel in the moment.

Most Republican voters disagree with Trump's grotesque, lewd words on an intellectual level -- but they still back the man because they feel defiant. That matters.

I think what I presented was the big picture..Pence has to play a balancing act if he wants to continue in politics at a National level and give the party a shot at keeping the Senate in November...Conway is with Trump debate prepping I would imaging...I don't think she is in high demand..This is a nice meal ticket for her for the next month...

This goes to show you how out of touch Republicans are. Republicans think that the country is made up of conservative middle aged religious white guys who have money and hate the economy and everything about our current system. And every election they are shocked to find out that the country is actually made up of minorities, forward thinking moderates that value their individual freedoms and equality. As for the middle finger vote, of course you will have some still voting for Trump. We have to admit that there's still a lot out there that are out of touch, are racist, shovenistic or want to blame their failures on the Obama administration and not their lack of education or bad life choices. And once again they will wake up after the election and realize their numbers are dwindling. This election will be a landslide and the Republican party, once again, has shown how out of touch they are.

Although I think it will be a blowout, you really can't count Trump out...Emotions are setting the tone globally against the generally expected outcomes..People thought Brexit wouldn't happen and it did...People thought Colombians would vote for peace against FARC and they didn't..I think there is a huge segment of middle class people in the US who feels they have lost their voice in Washington, even beyond the racism that Trump represents..They want a little get back the only times they are paying attention, at election time, at the presidential level..They think it's POTUS but I say it's congress...It feels like these lawmakers are cutting deals for themselves and the rest of us are being left out...The thing is, you have to vote your congressmen out...But Americans aren't willing to do that or they haven't connected that dots yet..Congressional approval ratings were single digits not too long ago but they are still voted back in...I think it's easy to make the President do what you want, it's Congress who is mostly controlled by corporate America and special interest...
