I didn't say he *never* shot his team out of games. Even Michael Jordan sometimes did that.
I love being correct but I really love that you have been so exposed.
I love being exposed for being correct too
BTW, here are Kobe's TS%s by the month: October (2 games): .701
November: .611
December: .572
January: .537
I see no reason to back down from the claim that his high volume shooting was helping the team October through December but it's clear it's not helping this month. You may have thought I meant it, but I never said that he would continue to be a top 5 MVP candidate throughout the whole season. Saying that would have violated my most basic belief - that the career data is the best sample to use.
I am flattered that you are so invested in the accuracy of my beliefs though.
Dude the Lakers started the season 1-4(Lakers defense was solid but Brown fired) so while Kobe was getting his TS% on it wouldn't be the reason he's sitting strong for MVP candidacy. The Lakers have the majority of this season been trash. So I guess depending on the month it's either TS% strong consideration or WS consideration or WP consideration. His TS% has been in a rapid decline since the start of the season which begs to question I took gripe this week with him being a Top 5 MVP which would have been valid but you would not back down from being....
STUBBONN
Let me give you a Hockey Assist.....what you should have said....yeah Kobe at this point in time of the MVP candidacy should not be in anyone's Top 5 as his play has been declining along with lack of team success, but things can change.
